Star Wars Battlefront rating 1-10
I was wondering what the destiny community thought of SWB. I bought the game solely based off of how fun the ps2 version was.
I am extremely disappointed so far. Everything I do in the game seems like a chore. I haven't played it a great deal maybe 3 hours, but it doesn't inspire me to keep playing.
Maybe I'm alone on this and someone here could give me a few tips to enjoying the game.
Edit - I'm gathering that the multiplayer is where its at. I will try that out since I haven't touched it yet.

It lacks too much content to score higher than a 7 IMO. But it's super fun and feels very polished and balanced beyond a few obvious issues.

12 RespuestasI would say 7/10. The reason why? The multiplayer is great, but sometimes I get matched against level 50s who only use explosives and the EE-3. Then, some people are just too aggressive, and there needs to be a proper bot mode. ( EA already said that they're working on this.) But yeah, the barrage, homing shot, impact grenade, and scan pulse are used far too much, whereas I've been using the Focus Fire, Thermal Detonator, and Pulse Cannon cards, and I still do.

6 RespuestasGood god when I put my vote I never expected it to be the same as everybody else's! Yea I have it a 7 and that's because the only fun game modes are walker assault and drop pod (I can't remember the name but you have to capture points and it's all out warfare). Graphically it's the best but every game mode fells as if it was slapped on (though I enjoy the game mode with the three droids) and the Ariel based combat game mode is a novelty and not really fun. Single player is just horde mode but I bought Star Wars because it's Star Wars not because it was going to be GOTY.

Sound: Top notch and another bar for other developers to reach. Gameplay: Excellent change from the typical run and gun FPS's on the market. Game Modes: Pretty standard with a couple of gems (Walker Assault & Fighter Squadron). Weapons: Look, feel and perform...as one would expect from Star Wars. Characters: Decent selection. However, would like more models. Overall, exactly what I expected. The best Star Wars FPS experience I have had to date. Yes, I did play/own BF I & II...and neither of them come close to capturing the feeling of actually being a part of Star Wars, like this new title. I am having major fun and just want more of it. Can't wait for the DLC to drop.

About a 7 or 8 is reasonable. A great amount of fun but sadly the maps get old quick but it doesn't change how crazy and fun some modes are. They need to tweak a lot of things however. A main gripe for me is that Heroes go down so easy unless you're Han or Boba. I get shot once as Luke and down to 56 health, didn't even have him for 10 seconds yet. It'd be nice if they could have you regain health with each kill as a saber user like in the beta

I'd say 7/10 it looks and sounds like Star Wars all the way to me but I think it could use some gun customization features like different scopes.

My opinion: Gameplay: 9/10 Sounds/Graphics: 10/10 Content: 5/10 Rounds out to about a 7.

As of yet no signs of boredom setting in but I do hope the DLC etc gives us some cracking maps and further modes to enjoy. Graphics are something else.....I give it an 8 with potential to reach a 9 at a later date (bearing in mind I'm happy to spend for the DLC)

That being said I've bought the game (before calling me a hypocrite let me explain) had a gift card with £21 on it so used it towards the game costing me a grand total of £21 in real money the most id actually be willing to pay and the cheapest i would be able to find it for. Only reasons I bought it was I wanted to play the Dogfight mode and the son loves Star Wars so seeing as it has split screen we can play survival together. Otherwise if I'd had to pay full price of have given the game a miss.

Once some balancing is done id give it an 8 on the fun-o-meter im almost level 40 and not even slightly bored

3 RespuestasOnce you realize its not supposed to be a copy-paste of the originals, you can see that its a pretty fun game. The game is smooth and the game modes are really fun. The biggest problem to me is just small amount of guns and maps.
