Cry Babies And Nerf Merchants Win Again!
This is Utter Bollocks!!!!
Nerfed for a SIXTH TIME!!! And this time to oblivion!
I love how a Sniper Rifle, is adjusted to act like a real life Sniper Rifle, yet a shotgun has been turned into a Potato Gun!
Damage drop of from the range of a Melee attack! A FÜCKING MELEE ATTACK!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING!!!
A Shotgun is supposed to blow holes clean through people at around 15 - 20 feet! And now, well my Shotgun bullets won't kill you, but my follow up Melee attack will! What a pile of shit!!!
Movement speed decreased... So now I'm just a slow moving easy to hit Target that can be picked off by a sniper, because my ability to strafe quickly between environmental cover has been seriously hampered!
I have always mained a Shotgun, in any FPS I've ever played, not because I'm a scrub or a Noob, but because it's suits my run and gun style of play (and believe me, it wrecks my KD when I come up against a well organised team unless I'm on point), and now, you've absolutely ruined them, and why? Because dumb fücks can't get their heads around the physics that close quarters, a Shotgun will win hands down! And can't get to grips with the whole "Keep your distance" ethic, so they cry some more like little bitches until they're heard! Which for the 6th time they have!!!
This game is a fücking joke and purely caters for casuals! Tonight I'm buying Fallout 4!

3 RespuestasThey should make it so they all hit at the same distance say 5 feet that's reasonable, not nerf then to a titans melee. May as well make all snipers bolt action, heavy, with a terrible relaod then.

2 RespuestasI've said it many times, you can nerf the shotgun to a melee weapon and people will still get killed by it. The range is not OP, it's just that most players in this game are bad at pvp and cannot competently gauge player movement speed in CQC situations. And unfortunately, all of the bad players are the ones who complain on the forums and just happen to be the activists to whom Bungie listens. Well, now that they did actually make it a melee weapon, let's see if people still complain. I'm guessing they will because they just don't get it.

Bungie doesn't like how regularly shotguns are used; Shotguns are changed. They can kind of do stuff like that because it's their game.

2 RespuestasThe math is the problem. Right now there are probably 100,000 crybabies asking for ALL hand cannons to be nerfed, but it aint gunna happen. Hawkmoon nerf? Yup. And why? The numbers are clear. Crybabies make buffs, but math makes nerfs. They nerf a particular tool only when the kill numbers demonstrate a high enough level of superiority. Think about how long it took the Thorn nerf. My friends were calling PvP "Game of Thorns". I also remember king auto riffle. I still have my shadow price and the day shall come where it lets me cheat once more. The kill numbers betray you shotgunners. Your tool reigns supreme. That is it. Destiny's design is favorable to shotguns as map design contains snipers and fusion rifles. Remember, shotguns ate a special trump card. I can use my primary to suppress all but the best snipers, and fusion rifles are still too slow, but a speeding shotgunner is death. Map design forces CQB. Last word: too slow without 2 perfect headshots. Red death: even slower. Hawkmoon: do I feel lucky? Sniper: I better be a freaking ace. Fusion: hahahahaha... Lol.. Hahaha.. Okay, I am done... Chuckles...

5 RespuestasHow does PvE feel Bungie? We just had shotguns ripped to shreads with the start of TTK, feel COMPLETELY different. Much slower Reload speeds, overall firerates, and a huge boost in the recoil department on every model. I used Fusions for a bit, trying to justify why I would ever need a Shotgun again when Swords became my Shotgun. Its funny how in HoW I always thought my shotgun felt like a sword it was so strong. And now PvE must suffer so Bungie can balance their game and change shotguns for a 3rd or 4th time now? I lost count. Shotguns will always be a problem because people would rather rush rush rush than sit back and use their primary to take out someone rushing them. Its just the way pvp is designed to be offensive, if that means holding a position to land headshots with a sniper or rushing in and using all the corners you can with a Shotgun. I just sympathize with everyone really, there's no way to know until we really have a chance to play it but its questionable to say the least. I really hope some of these new shotguns Ive grown to enjoy in pve will even be able to keep up or everyone will be forced to use Exotic shotguns if they want to use shotguns in pvp.

8 RespuestasYou want shotguns to stay the way they are? I mean, I get it, don't let the entire gun class get nerfed to obscurity, but do you really want them to stay the same? I'm sorry, but if you do, you're ignoring an incredibly obvious flaw; all maps cater to shotgunners, with the exception of the combined arms maps, which no longer exist. What bungie needs to do is correctly balance all weapon types, and the community needs to shut the [b]fu[/b]ck up about the aspects they don't like, leading to the inevitable nerf circle we've been going through. Please, take your shotgun elitism somewhere else, pick up some skill, use a primary, and stop whining. Nobody wants to hear it anymore. Unless you have progressive feedback and ideas, keep your small little mind and mouth shut.

6 RespuestasI've been using shotguns ever since I got my secret handshake last December. So far the nerfs for shotguns have not really been warranted, they perform beautifully in close range, which they should. The main problem with shotguns in Destiny is that basically all the PvP maps are geared toward close range fighting, leaving shotguns the dominant weapon choice. This nerf coming in December is going to be hitting shotguns with the same "nerf stick" that hit fusion rifles last year and hand cannons earlier this year. Any nerf that will virtually eliminate a weapon type from the meta is not one that should happen. Coming in December shotguns will almost completely disappear from use. All we an hope for now is that they will be re-buffed sooner than later and that they can take bake their place as the close range kings.

8 RespuestasThe problem is shotgun people don't even aim. You have two types of shotgun users. A.) The blink/slide shotgun Bladedancer. B.) The ones that walk into you and pull the trigger without aiming then hit melee. When anyone can just literally walk into another player, not even aim but just look in their general direction, and then hit two buttons to consistently get kills without dying something is broken. This is especially true when the shotgun users can survive an onslaught of bullets by anything except a pulse rifle or heavy weapon.

If you want a game that's full of PVE content then go play Fallout (awesome by the way). Leave Destiny as one of those games to hop on to when you want to mess around with your mates. The days of investing serious time into this game are over for a lot of people.

2 RespuestasHonestly, I don't even think Shotguns are that overpowered, I can't even count the number of times I've melted somebody with my Fusion Rifle because they thought it would be a good idea to rush. I'm just tired of seeing them. It seems like everyone not rocking the 1000-yard Aim Assist or a Luck in the Bullshit Eirine is running about with some variety of shotgun. Vaporizing people who think they can rush safely got old a long time ago. If Shotguns need to be ruined so that I can have some targets smart enough to use their primaries, then so be it. Arceus forbid, we might actually have people using Fusion Rifles again.

4 RespuestasI've always found it odd, a 1 shot kill from close quarters when your opponent shows up on your radar is OP, but a one shot kill from across the map with no indication while your opponent is in cover.....totally legit.
