I just thought. All vex timegates have a platforn to step on. Even the one outside the vault even though it doesnt work when you stand on it. But what about the vex timegate at the jumping puzzle? It must also have a platform, and I dont beleive there I one on thr same rock as it. So if wr can find that platform when we are killing atheon, maybe we can teleport to someplace else...?
