I see so many simpletons here. Not understanding the entirety of your post. It's sad that so much of Bungies fan base lacks brain cells. I was always under the impression that MMORPG players were smarter and a little more well rounded as opposed to other gamers.
I was a CoD fan for awhile. 6 years to be exact. Switched to Destiny to basically get away from the PvP scene and the people who surrounded it. Figured Destiny was a good step into MMO's. Year one was fun. I met lots of great people. Now all I see in the forums is rage, hate, complaining and idiocy. Just pure toxic players.
This post alone is filled with so many of them. it's pathetic. I'm continuously losing my faith in this community.

Your post adds to the problem you complain about in your post by saying people on the forum lack brain cells. It's simple, everyone just make up their own mind in what to do. There are so many options in trying games in these days before actually buying. Dont listen to critics, fanboys, friends or haters. Rent the game and try it yourself.

Ok, first I was stating that Destiny is not a a MMO, which its developer openly admits. Second, your opinion is no better or worse than anyone else's, which is why you're sharing it. Three, HoW was Year One and was definitely the catalyst for the PvP-centric attitude the game has taken. Four, I never spoke badly about you. In my initial response, I was just adding further information about 34s and 40s just purchasing Destiny for PvP reasons, which is mystifying. Five, I already stated that I wasn't attacking you or your response, I just disagree with some of it. I think Destiny is corrupt, but that's not an opinion you share, and I don't take it personally that you disagree. 20,000,000 people disagree with me, so enjoy it if you enjoy it.

Yeah. It's true HoW was in year one. And trials did set the bar for PvP'ers out there. But HoW came out towards the end of year one. And was mainly FOR the PvP'ers, who didn't like to raid. And that's okay. But if I remember correctly there the level advantages mattered to an extent. I'm can't remember exactly. Mainly because I was 34 before they released trials. I don't even remember what the cap was for regular gear? 32? From what I remember. If you went into trials as a team of lvl 32 players, against a team of lvl 34 players. Your chances of winning were slim. I honestly can't remember the damage/resistance mechanics though. Either way. If they made it to level 34 by just strictly playing Trials, I have to give them some praise. But as far as Bungie being corrupted. I am completely aware of that. Have been since release, when I found out all of that content was cut. Nothing they do now surprises me. Do I agree with it? No. Not at all. But they are a company. They can legally do as they wish. Everything is subject to change. They're allowed to cut content. Hold back content. Release micro transactions. Anything they want really. It's completely legal. It's morally wrong though. I get that part. No one realises that being here, complaining about it, isn't going to change a thing. For anything to change, you have to hurt the content creators/publishers pockets. It's very simple task, but it's hard to do. Their release of silver was a gold mine for them, unfortunately. They know that the majority of the people that have time invested into the game will continue to play it. They'll continue to buy the expansions. Maybe they'll put in down when Destiny 2 releases. Maybe not. But the rewards system (RNG), no one should be complaining about at all. It's been the same since launch. Sometimes you get duplicates of things. Sometimes you get something new. It's literally a slot machine. I know that you weren't attacking me in any type of way. You were making a statement, or a constructive argument. And that's fine. Just like politics, both of us are going to make some true and false statements. We're both going to believe what we say is right. We're both going to call each other wrong. That's okay too. That's what debating a subject is all about. I'll be honest though... I'm kind of done with it (: So, I'm going to say that what I've just posted is my conclusion. I'll let you finish up.

It was not PvP centric until HoW. Trials, specifically. I mean, there was iron banner. But the gear you got from IB, was equivalent to the gear you got from PoE. If I remember correctly. So there was really no need for it. Sure, there could have been some PvP elitists out there. I'm sure I still have a couple as friends. Only because they aren't complete idiots, I can vibe with them, they're not whining when they die, etc. They're actual normal people. I'm not even sure why you're, questioning me basically, about the PvP aspect? Assuming it was because my original post mentioned something about CoD and me switching to Destiny to get away from the PvP scene. If so. I need to ask... why, exactly? It's not like I came to Destiny for PvP. Up until HoW, PvP had no real purpose. PvP was never an important thing unless it came to banner or trials. If you wanted to be, whatever the max level was, back then. You had to do the raid. Which is pretty much what I did. I never bothered with Iron Banner up until, maybe, TdB. For Felwinters and Efrideets, basically. And yeah. There may have been some level 34 players who never ran VOG. And that's okay. That just means they repeatedly played PoE, IB, and trials. They at least worked for their level. Yeah, sure, they didn't have the grind like day one players to get past 30. I'm okay with that. It doesn't effect me in any way. Although I think they should at least be required to beat it at least once to progress through the rest of their story like we did. But I'm not here crying about it, either. I'm not even here, crying about the game as a whole, like most people. I'm not hear screaming nerf at everything that kills me. Mainly, because I'm not a child, or a cry baby. The only thing I have a problem with is what this community has turned into. Just a bunch of mindless, toxic players. Along with endless posts of, "nerf this. Nerf that. I'm quitting destiny. Etc. Etc." It's a game. It should be treated as such. Everyone is here acting like it's their second job. If you're making a game your job. That's just sad. I understand that there are introverts out there who will spend their free time playing games. and to those people, I want it know that I'm not applying this to you. Trust me, I get it. Back to my main point.... I was a grind hard in year one. I had no social life basically. Only to find out, once the new expansion dropped, that my time and effort was wasted (AS WITH ALL MMO'S AND ANYONE WHO DOESNT UNDERSTAND THAT NEEDS TO STOP PLAYING NOW!!! ). I did Raid after raid, trial after trial. Only to start all over a couple months later. So this is what I do now... I play moderately. I go out and do things. I go out with my gf. I read, and write. Sometimes I post in these god forsaken forums because there are still some decent people around here. Sometimes I make people angry. And that's okay. Because I don't have to wake up and answer to any of you. None of you write my paychecks, or pay my bills. And that's okay! I'm, kinda, sorry some of you got mad at my original post. But not really. The only reason any of you would possibly be mad is if you yourself felt offended by my post. Which in all seriousness, is you calling yourself stupid! And that's crazy! Absolutely crazy! If you're still reading at this point. I'll give you all some tips to think about. Before continuing to complain about the RNG pool. Or the game in general. Here's what I stopped doing... I don't grind the raid, or IB, or trials anymore. Because once that next expansion drops, I'll already be ahead again. stop grinding. Just play the game. Simple as that. Hopefully, none of you got lost. Hope you all enjoyed the wall of text. P.S. this wall is now a barrier. A barrier that's going to stop any and all replies that lack common sense, length, and an argument with a point. Don't worry. I'm not a magician. You can reply to me. I'll still get the notification. I put 1,500-hours into this game, but got betrayed so many times since Beta and September, 9, 2014 to July, 2015 that I quit.

When ever a player vents about THE WRONG BUNGIE IS DOING. Here comes some troll calling names and being disrespectful. He probably would be the same player who would have a fit if he went to the store bought an item a got ripped off. I've said it once and I'll say it again NO GAME COMPANY SHOULD BE ABLE TO CONTROL HOW WE PLAY!!! BUNGIE has made so many mistakes in this game. They take things away then wait for player feed back then fix it. Example they just said in there last update. " We have the right to change our minds ". You only change your mind if you know you made a mistake.
