Every match I -blam!-ing play at 7 or more is a guaranteed FULL TEAM of snipers with 1000 yard stares. How the -blam!- is this competitive??? I never even have a chance because I don't sit around and snipe all day. I don't like the shit and I don't feel I should have to use one. You're dictating how I play and it's bullshit. If I don't snipe then I'm at an advantage

Kind of felt the same about hand cannons and shotguns. Not so much ARs. ARs seem accessible people who are good with them can get quick kills but it keeps it balanced. Not that I care too much about balancing. The whole point of RPG type PvP is to negate skill as much as possible by having the best gear. As much as Destiny wants to deny being RPG/MMO'ish the use of the term PvP over the term multiplayer solidifies the categorization as an RPG type PvP experience.

Granted I don't really care for pvp anyway, just kinda lame how everyone we ran against did the same shit. Also last match had a red bar dude disappearing all over the place.

The problem is the elimination game mode. It doesn't take much skill to sit in a halway with a scoped sniper rifle. Osiris should be an objective based mode or pure deathmatch with spawns. Elimination just takes the skill away. It never worked in other shooters and it doesn't work in Destiny.

Exactly, any noob can sit scoped in on a hallway. So go around him and kill him... There, you are now god mode because the noob hard scoped down a hallway had only one weakness, flanks... Now you know the secret to beat a scoped noob and no longer need to cry about it on the forums.

Dropping enough special ammo that people never have to use a primary. Creating maps that don't have routes to avoid sniper lanes. The making those maps the trials maps
