But does it really matter in non leveled pvp where a lvl1 AR is as good if not better than a hard mode raid AR? In iron banana and trials it might give them an edge....or not really. In all honesty when in this game does someone roll up on another player and go "awww shit this guy has heliopos boots, I'm out." And if you are worried about exotics, make it so exotics cannot be transmigged into items and they cannot be covered as well. Hell WoW figured this out and it is one of the best features in the game. When it first came out the old raids became active again and I could see the same happening to VoG and Crota (maybe PoE).

Dude even with the blank stuff on I don't even know who I'm killing, even then, when trials was out I just looked at the roster before a match.

That creates strategy for both teams. It's not like one has an advantage over the other. (Unless they have no cosmetics.)
