It literally offers nothing better than gunslinger, for pve or for pvp.
Titans have the same super but it is actually better in every possible aspect.
You can't even use blade dancing on bosses for dos unless you spec razors edge, which is terrible.
So what exactly is the point?

1 RespuestaIt use to be great
-
1 RespuestaQuickdraw and hungering blade with a fast twitched blink strike are nice
-
1 Respuesta1) invisible 2) arc based 3) can flawlessly do the first part of crota

If im doing heroic or nightfall saber strike, I always switch to bladedancer for the warsat LOL. In pvp its probably better with all weapon balancing and the maps are still close quarters where bladedancer shines but it gets overshadowed by sunbreaker and stormcaller.
-
1 RespuestaBladedancer could use a buff in PvE. I say give it a +200% damage buff against AI combatants. Arc Blade should be as powerful, if not more powerful than a Sword. Seems fine in PvP, though. Bad idea to go head-to-head with a Sunbreaker, but other than that, it's fine.

Editado por Chopper Eater: 10/27/2015 8:54:25 AMHunter has always been my favorite and yea bladedance is pretty useless now other than the invis and the fact it has blink( not strike, just blink). It's pretty shitty how the titan and warlock 3rd person super puts bladedance to shame. The fact you can actually use them on bosses in pve because of the range of the attacks, the coolness of them.. Let's not even talk about pvp. I mean wtf... Whenever a titan throws a hammer its like there's a bladedancer doing showstopper wherever it lands, and the warlock basically does a fist of havoc just activating stormcaller. Cool as hell. Thanks bungie for making the hunter 3rd person super the worst one. It wasn't fair when the hunter was the only one with this kind of super, but this wasn't the way to make it all better, this wasn't the way.... *sadface*

The Bladedancer is barely good at efficient PvE but even Black Widow has a niche among the Avengers. No subclasses is better at infiltrating enemy lines with a Fourth Horseman and obliterating majors quickly or safely doing an objective that takes longer than 5 seconds. They suck at orb generation but they can work if situationally.

Invisible?

1 RespuestaYou must have just gotten the game at,the release of the taken king if you think blade dancer has nothing to offer. Blade dancer has always been a strong class. Especially in pvp
-
It was my main subclass for all of Year One. I spent roughly half of my time being invisible. It was perfect for clutch revives, running past enemies you're not equipped to fight, and feeling like a badass ninja. With three ways to go invisible in total (crouching, knifing, and using Arc Blade), I never stopped turning invisible. Now, I feel that it is outshined by the Nightstalker. I still have fun running Bladedancer occasionally, but Nightstalker is the better class overall. I think Bungie should balance its subclasses so that every subclass has a use.
-
Blade dancers were looked up to for being medics. Back in PoE, a blade dancer could grab everyone and dismantle the mines with ease. The sheer amount of ways to go invisible make it an amazing class.
-
Does anyone else remember when you heard someone pop a bladedancer and you started to run like hell? Year 1 crucible was ruled by Hunters. The bladedancer could wipe a whole team buck use of the range of the attack, warlock nova and titan fist didn't compare.

2 RespuestasBlade dance was king of PoE.

1 RespuestaBack in the day my Bladedancer saved many a Nightfall run with his ability to revive whilst invisible....
-
Piss off every enemy player in a small area, and revive downed allies that place themselves poorly in the middle of every single enemy in the room. Squishy hunter things.
-
To prove hunters are worthless
-
I used it to run sword on crota with it. Blink strike invisibility after the first hits with the sword. I like the invisibility. I use it to solo a lot of night falls as well. It definitely has its uses and before the void class it was the only class I used on my hunter ( with don't touch me gauntlets).
-
1 RespuestaY'know. For having played through all year 1 Destiny I never thought I'd see a post like this.
-
Good for year one now night stalker takes the cake in pve by far. Some would say: but you can't kill with the arrows! *BITCH SLAP* you can't kill one yellow knight as a bladedancer either! As for pvp...aside for the super...the only good thing it has is probably backstab and quick draw. Arcbolt got nerfed, blink got nerfed and the supers aim assist got nerfed. Not what it used to be. Golden gun is better.

2 RespuestasSounds to me like you are new to the game. Welcome to destiny!

I love it! Invisibility for days
