Earning a gold medal in crucible should be an automatic legendary engram.

Proposal: Players who earn and of the following medals will be rewarded with a guaranteed random legendary engram (or weapon) at the end of the match: Mark of the Unbroken Phantom We Ran out of Medals Sum of All Tears No Mercy Bulletproof These medals are all fairly difficult for the average player to achieve. That being said, I think earning any of these is quite the accomplishment. Therefore I believe players who earn these medals should be rewarded accordingly. Currently, a player's crucible performance has zero impact on their end of matches rewards. Does anyone else see this as a glaring problem? As you all know, it's not uncommon for players in last, or next to last, place to be rewarded with legendary gear. While players in first place typically receive rare gear, materials, or nothing at all. This just doesn't seem fair at all. The problem with having rewards randomly granted to players is that is completely obliterates any incentive to try. Aside from pure bragging rights, there is no in-game incentive to actually win matches. Now I know a large majority of you may be thinking, "I don't even enjoy pvp." Or "I only play pvp for fun." And that's perfectly fine. But there is also a large group of the destiny population who plays pvp competitively and would like to see some compensation for their incredible feats in the crucible. Surely Bungie can understand that. To put things in perspective, I just got back to back Sum of All Tears medals before I wrote this thread. I also joined a match late, and came back to win it with a 15 kill streak at the end, holding the 1st place player at 2390 points. It was, to say the least, intense. Heart pounding, sweaty, competitive fun. But I'm going to be honest here. A little bit of that fun gets spoiled, when those boxes stop spinning at the end of the match, and you see that your victory has earned you a blue helmet (armor materials). While the guy who just joined 10 seconds ago has snagged a nifty new legendary weapon. I know I may come off like a bitter snob. But I assure you I (and many others) merely want to feel like we're being rewarded for our skill and dedication. At the end of the day, Destiny is a game. But I think it would be an even better game if this small change was implemented. What do you say guys?
