I get 2 DLC's then a new one comes, I decide not to get it, and I loose the features
No more trials, no more striking unless it's level 20?! No more iron banner! Cant bye anything not even old weapons! I used to love this game, but bungie is just greedy for money, and are capable of making hit games like Halo reach, and halo games before that, but don't anymore! Im pissed, and about ready to ditch this game even though I love the game play just hate the way their nearly forcing you to get EVERY D.L.C to enjoy the game. Their suppose to be "add on's" Not fun killers if you don't get them.
I also think they should make it Xbox one- Xbox 360 reversible again. But nooo still trying steal all our money.

BTW for all the fam without taken king. If you go to a friends house that has it, and sign in. You are able to get level 40, and the new sub classes, And all of it will transfer over. You just cant do the missions you didn't complete at your friends house at home

1 RespuestaDon't buy TTK. It's not worth it. I caved in because I wanted to do IB and raid. In the end rhis is just another grindy beta, like y1 was. The graphics look awsome, but story and gameplay still suck.

Complain to Activision. They've given refunds in the form of other game of your choice. I think Bungie lost a lawsuit over this.

You lose more content actually getting the DLC either way. Bungie screwed up on that part by canceling out 80% of the game we [i]paid[/i] for.

Even if all activities were available you still couldn't do them as you couldn't get to level 40. Stop sooking and either buy the DLC or move on to another game. I thought these posts were done -.-

After putting destiny down for about a month, I fire it up only to find that the game I had wasted countless hours of my life (playing control) and now a 1.70MB update installed, and it appears that for me to access control in the crucible again, it will cost no less than $39.99! I find this tactic hard to understand? I have not played as many games over the years as others, however, I have never had content "TAKEN" from because new content was released. I will wait a short time to see if they will resolve this injustice upon the people of this once great nation. If they do not, I believe destiny will be the first game I've ever traded in at a GameStop...

This has been bungie's tactic, strong arm those that wish not to purchase their DLC until they decide to do so. The whole game revolves around mind control anyways. This game contains tools that induce a soft trance like state quicker than television...harmonics, rapid occult imaging, etc...

5 RespuestasI don't understand why you'd want to be playing without the newest expansion anyway, even if you had strikes up to 32 and IB and such. You'd get wrecked in IB because power matters and you expect expansions to increase relative power and you'd still only get Year 1 stuff everywhere else. This is how MMO games work. Either you're in them for the long haul and expect to shell out when an expansion comes every year or two, or you decide not to and play something else. That hasn't changed in the ~20 years MMOs have been on the scene.

1 RespuestaYes I know it sucks but games modes like iron banner and trials of Osiris how would you hope to compete in them with a level cap? Your playing a constantly evolving game. According to bungie this is going to be a ten year game. Assuming so are they supposed develop game content for the following eight years and simply give it away? Yes you paid for content and maybe they should have a trials or game mode for those that choose not to buy content but as of now there is no such game mode at the moment and I think your out of luck. Maybe there will be a deal on Xbox live that will offer content at a discounted rate in future months that you could pick up.

I'm still going to play the game because it's fun (and I don what I want), but I also want to do year 1 ToO, the Blades of Crota in Patrol, and the Fallen Wolf Packs in Patrol also, because if they had all three it would make Patrol a bit more interesting.
