Might as well start farming and exploiting to get gear and levels..
As lagit play will no longer matter.

For years, the slang term for "cash shop" or any other function that adds items available for purchase without playing the game and unlocking it- has been dubbed "pay to win"
In other words.. micro transactions , cash shop, [made up currency] - store is the same as "pay to win"
Can argue amongst yourselfs with the definition of pay to win.
(Not to be confused with pay to play)
And yes. Obtaining a dance emotion is winning an item. May not make you stronger- but it adds to the game play experience.
If they want to make it so you have to complete a quest or something before you can buy the stuff.. that's different. .
Nerd fight! !!
That is all.

OH NOES THE GAME IS GONNA BE BAD! PAY TO EH WIN? I mean I'm a year one. There will never be pay to win for me. But if you're a nooby noob scrub scrub and you start playin' year two half way in, maybe year 3 even or when D2 is a thing. Micros may not be bad. Also you may say "It starts with emotes, shaders, ships, and then the guns, armor, missions!" Wah wah wah is all I hear from casual complainers who jive with the crowd. I'd be okay with ships.. shaders.. emblems for 50cents us currency? Ghost, and emotes. Whatevs. I won't need to buy guns. I mean for hells sake bungie knows what THEY want to do. They know what will detest the players from wanting to play, or keep playing. The sad part is just all you people who immediately jump on the "MICRO TRANSATIONS RUIN THE GAME! " Wah wah band wagon... It's actually quite amusing. I mean it's not like this game IS an MMO or something. Not like there are MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER ENVIRONMENTS for us players. World of Warcraft has micros transactions. And is still probably the strongest running MMO-RPG out there. I say burn the band wagon, and quit your cryin. . . Spread the word those who have a brain that functions!

"Pay to win" means exactly that, you have better, if not guaranteed, chances at winning if you pay money compared to someone who doesn't pay. Basically, saying that people buying emotes makes them more likely to win is like saying a Volkswagen is good for the environment.
Or like saying you can see John Cena.
So paying for "cosmetic only" items such as dances is in your terms "pay to win." Then I can't wait to kill your ass with my awesome dance moves
-
Yeah, I'm gonna challange Oryx to a dance off...
-
No, cash shop does not automatically mean pay to win. I don't think you know what pay to win actually entails and you're just regurgitating shit you've heard. If it doesn't give players an advantage in game play/mechanics it's not pay to win. Cosmetic shops are in a ton of major titles.

2 RespuestasApparently new dance moves is winning the whole game according to this guy
-
This guy is retarded.
-
2 RespuestasDoes anyone know what pay to win is? Or are you referring to pay to play? They aren't heading in that direction. Some people amaze me lol
-
2 RespuestasIf cosmetic = P2W too you, I'm afraid you're inbred.
-
You may be as dumb as the people that actually want pay to win.
-
shut up, Meg.
-
Pay to win refers to paying in order to be best at that game not to dance cool
-
Ok so cosmetic items that actually provide no benefits to actual gameplay counts as pay to win... I can see it now..." Raid requirements: must have slow clap and red ish brown ish blue shader, strip tease emote is also acceptable"
-
Pay to win means paying to win not paying to dance differently than other people Do I like it? No So you seem like an ignorant fool? I'll let you decide that for yourself

Dayum son can you read
-
I'm gonna win the dance contest.
-
1 RespuestaWill this new pay to win system sell common sense cuse if so it might break the game . If not shit aye
-
1 RespuestaEditado por BoOtTyMoNsTa: 10/7/2015 12:54:50 AMThat may very well be how the term came to life, but the way everyone THINKS of the term pay to win is to have the ability to buy items that actually give you an advantage in game. In no way does a new set of dance moves put you ahead of anybody else.
-
2 RespuestasIt has not been confirmed to be pay to win. Doubt it will be.

7 RespuestasMost of you keep complaining about how much the game is... Yet neglect to realize how much you've played it. A typical game offers less than 100hrs of game-play. Unless you look at something like Elder Scrolls. Destiny is roughly 140$ yet you have spent roughly 720 total hours playing it. You got your money's worth out of it and then some. This is by no means a hate post. But people keep complaining about these micro-transactions and don't even know what the future of them is. Yes, there is a possibility that they could affect in-game activity by selling powerful guns or gear... but, at the moment, it's just emotes... So continue playing... Continue enjoying the game and IF the day comes when they sell stuff other than cosmetic stuff, then just stop playing... It really is just that simple.
