Why "Shindig in the Crucible" is the hardest quest ever.
If you're a completionist like me, or if your just curious about this then alright. So if you haven't gotten it yet, there's a quest that Amanda Holliday will give you eventually rewarding you with "The Chaperone". Step 1 is to kill enemies with The Last Word to boost reputation with Tex Machinima. What sucks is that that gun has been nerfed. I mean it's miserable. If you use certain perks, stability is equivalent to Ill Will! You also need over a 1.0 kd ratio or you lose points. I literally cried when my 42% went to 2% in the same match. I am so angry. It's like an arbitrary system. If anyone knows tips on this. PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Thanks and have an awesome day!

7 RespuestasI've put out advice on completing this quest before and for those it helped, I hope you're enjoying your new weapon. For those still struggling and complaining, perhaps this just isn't a quest for you right now.

Play Rumble or classic free for all, then find yourself a nice spot with one or two exits and camp it out. Wait for people to come to you, with this game mode you can limit your engagements to one enemy at a time.

I jumped into classic 6 v 6 with a sniper rifle & LMG. I had one rough game but the rest went smoothly. Still, it made zero sense to have that kind of quest for a shotgun exotic.

15 RespuestasIt's not hard. Have to pull a 1.0 or higher for a few games. I did it in like 5. No more cruising through crucible it's like the new thorn. Not for baddies.

even a 1 kd can result in a drop of completion, is a tough bounty, currently t 83% and felling the fight, its a tough one for sure

I got to 50%. Next game dropped to 46% and said -blam!- this. Im sitting at 46%.

Tip 1 Get kills with it Tip 2 Don't die Tip 3 Use it in closer range than fusion rifles

I finished mine. It's pretty easy. Just do rumble. That's where I completed mine.

I played passive in rift matches, got in about 4-5 games

Night one, went to 74%. 4 days later.... I'm at 36%, I'll have one, two good matches, then one really bad one. This quest is hard for me too. Sniping is a good idea, I've done that a few times and had good success. But some boards are just not good for it. Alternate between shotgun, machine gun for tight quarter rounds, and sniper, rocket launcher for more open rounds. That's what I'm doing. My shotgun rounds are killing me though, I suck with the shotgun.

I've always hated the last word with that spinning shit it does no range yadda yadda theres way better HC'S out there I abandoned that quest quickly

I got mine in rumble. Seemed easier to me. Just camp in close quarters and wait for people to come after you. Got a 15 kill streak and I jumped from 13% to 70%

You don't have to use tlw, it just needs to be equipped

Stick to cqc, use ur best special and heavy and use ur super smart. Camp. Crouch. You wanna basically go on streaks. I recommend playing rift and forgetting about the objective
