Why "Shindig in the Crucible" is the hardest quest ever.
If you're a completionist like me, or if your just curious about this then alright. So if you haven't gotten it yet, there's a quest that Amanda Holliday will give you eventually rewarding you with "The Chaperone". Step 1 is to kill enemies with The Last Word to boost reputation with Tex Machinima. What sucks is that that gun has been nerfed. I mean it's miserable. If you use certain perks, stability is equivalent to Ill Will! You also need over a 1.0 kd ratio or you lose points. I literally cried when my 42% went to 2% in the same match. I am so angry. It's like an arbitrary system. If anyone knows tips on this. PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Thanks and have an awesome day!

Did mine in 3 games with Last Word and my Prudence II. Then got on my brother's account and did it for him as well in 3 games. But I had been using Last Word since January and didn't rely on it as a crutch during 1.1.1 so had no problems with the bounty.

Go into inventory and put last word into you primary slot. Step 3. Play conservatively with a high impact machine gun (jolders hammer) and get a few kills with it. Step 4. When heavy runs out, go back into inventory and take last word out of your primary slot. Kills with ANY weapon count as long as the last word is in your primary slot. As soon as you take the last word out of your primary slot you can die as much as you want and the quest progress WILL NOT reset. Do this for a handful of matches and your rep for the quest should steadily rise.

It wasn't hard at all actually you just got to be amazing with it it's a really jumpy gun but just stick to it or do the "cheap way" by using other guns to get it done just have it equipped

10 RespuestasJust equipped TLW seconds before you win. You gain 5% per win. If you don't have TLW equipped you don't lose % so as long as you take it off before the next round starts and put it on before the win you'll get there. Just make sure you don't die in the few seconds before a win as you'll lose %.

You don't have to use the last word to kill people it only has to be equipped. Not trying to be a jerk but it clearly says that

You actually need a 2.0 KD if you only get bodyshots. It is +1 for a bodyshot, +2 for a headshot, and -2 for a death.

I just got lucky last night and went 22 and 3. That got me almost 40 percent

Here are the steps I followed to complete the bounty. Step 1. Equip TLW, Year 1 Party Crasher with rangefinder/shotpackage, Proximity Rocket. Step 2. Play Control Step 3. Wait crouched down near your zones, around a corner and don't leave. Step 4. Wait for incoming guardians and profit

So I would equip TLW and a sniper. You don't need kills strictly with TLW. And I happen to be a very good sniper. It's not that hard and if you need some practice, go into Patrol with Queenbreaker's Bow (works well in PvP if the other team isn't sniping) or No Land Beyond.

[b]METHOD[/b]: Wait until the last minute of a winning match. Then swap in your TLW. Avoid enemies as time runs out. You will receive either 3% or 4% for every winning match. Yes, it is a slow method, but IT WORKS!

1 RespuestaThere's numerous work arounds I didn't even use TLW 2.0 my orginal baby did the trick within I suppose 5 different crucible games, there was fluctuations luckily none going too downhill. Keep the spirit lit !

You don't have to get kills with last word just have it equipped, stay back take your time equip a sniper or a shotgun wait for heavy, just be conservative in your play style run about following other crucible players so you don't end up 3-1 situations.. I managed this in 3-4 games soon as I changed my playstyle

Only equip it when you get heavy, run riot with machine gun then un equip it, repeat...!

I've just given up in this... Get up to 20%, then I get slaughtered on 1 map- boom! Back to 6% !!! Don't got the patience for it

You have to have a 1.25 or higher took make progress.I tested this. 1.21 or lower I know FOR A FACT will bring you down.

20 RespuestasBungie, after all this time you still require people to play crucible for challenges, and yet nothing has been done about connection issues and lag. It's impossible to go positive when over matched teams full of people lagging their asses off are moonwalking around the map. But continue to charge people money for shitty gameplay and half-assed effort. Way to go.
