I wasn't crying douch. I was asking how. My problem had been not getting the rewards when completing the missions....

After a while, you'll end up getting about three or four legendary engrams a run. Dismantle what you don't need, and you get marks quick. There's also the daily story and crucible, that's 30 a day. A few vanguard missions give them as well. I made about 230 marks like that today.

Which strike list actually drops engrams now? It was dropping nothing for me?

grinding reciprocal runes is more efficient atm for engrams.

I have a ton of those, haven't started using them yet though. I didn't know engrams dropped in the court of oryx. Might have to try that if I can get a fireteam together.

People keep saying you don't get any but I've been grinding it and I've seen more engrams from that then strikes. Most of my legendary weps are from it and most of the blues I've used for infusion have also come from it.

I've done this, staying in vanguard heroic strikes only to have the other 2 people leave as the strike started. Can't say how annoyed I am at this. Strikes solo is not fun.

Are you only guaranteed three drops of legendary marks on the heroics? And then after that you don't get them anymore?

I haven't gotten any engrams, but the heroic strikes have been giving me 20 legendary marks. Also look at the quest rewards, make sure you're doing the ones that pay out with marks or legendary items.

3 guaranteed yes, but I have been lucky enough to get some at random after a few more strikes.

Same with the legendary engram? Sorry for the noob questions. I'm taking my first runs hopefully at heroics tonight.

I didn't really pay attention if the legendary engrams were guaranteed or not. I just took them for granted. Just don't forget the longer you stay in the Playlist the greater the rewards. I've even found a PS exclusive Sublime engram.

As in, those who have jobs & can't afford the time to sit through 3-5 strikes just to get STARTED on MAYBE getting gear that POSSIBLY could be popped for marks (if they're purple & not blues.) It was clearly intended to mislead us when they announced the "grind as much as you want" policy. Heck, they could even reduce the Mark rate to 1 or 2 per strike & STILL have an effective rate limiter for hardcores & throw a bone to moderate players. Right now there's this HUGE divide between hardcore & casuals where each of those groups are seeing some kind of payout for their efforts. In the middle of that divide struggling against the wind are the moderates: they don't get the "drafting" benefit of playing with other hardcores, where the group dynamic reduced overall difficulty for any one individual; & if they go with randoms, the casuals drop & they're stuck soloing (casuals get 30 marks a day anyway, do they're probably covered up to what they need.)
