I just haven't seen too many threads dedicated to the new Nightstalker subclass. How do our seasoned hunters like it? What kinds of perk combinations seem to be most effective? What kind of play styles are coming from it? Likes/dislikes...etc
Personally I'm only half-way through the skill tree but I'm liking it so far.

Love the hidden perk when I'm out patrolling... Shhhhhh. Don't tell anyone what we know.

Editado por ClayishPit612: 9/29/2015 11:05:30 AMReally enjoying it! NightStalker super isn't going to one shot majors like Gunslinger could but you pin a group, or three goups, then toss in a grenade,/rocket, or send in your friend running another class to clear the whole group! Vanishing smoke is great! Have the grips from last week and really like the double Melee or in my case vanishing smoke! Plus the Vanishing smoke also does Melee damage to ads if you throw it at them so it has a double use. Nightstalker also has a perk that finds all materials/chests and displays them on the radar. Do any of the other classes have this perk? Anyway, really enjoying the Nightstalker subclass. Just finished leveling the last perk last night, shadestep. Will have to try it out next chance I get. :)

I didn't think I could love my hunter more and since TTK I havent even left him. My titan and lock are still at 34 (with bounties ready for upgrading). I am finally done with the raid and I think its time to hammer time, but that NightStalker is the most badass subclass there is in Destiny.

I main a Titan, my Hunter was my third character made. But my second to get to 40. I really like shadowshot. That "bow-a-muddafudger" feeling I get when I shoot someone with the bow is amazing. Plus like everyone else is saying, you can make orbs for days. I havent ran it in Mayhem yet, but I will tonight. I don't dislike Hunters, in Y1 my KD went up when I started maining the Hunter. Only because of the dance! Awokens are great dancers! Haha So I like your guys shadowshot, plus I dont rage when HoS gets shut down by one. That bow matched with the right Hunter is unstoppable. You go Hunters! Welcome on my fireteam anytime!

4 RespuestasNightstalker will be the best class for Trials simply because of Sunbro. You hear it pop, go invis with a smoke and then hit his ass with a bow shot

1 RespuestaNight stalker is insane, I was crucial to my team being able to beat the giant orge, if you want to know what we did I'll add it because we went in 100% blind and stayed blind the entire time.
-
1 RespuestaI havent done nightatalker yet but my brother has and the keen scout perk is unbelievable! It shows you chests and materials on your map! That is without a doubt the best perk any character has in this game, especially since we dont want to waste our legendary marks on materials exhange.

4 RespuestasEditado por Kana, Rogue Kobold: 9/29/2015 2:29:21 AMNightstalker has three very incredible build possibilities just from core skills. Shadowshot w/ Blood Bound + Courage of the Pack and Smoke w/ Vanish in Smoke results in excellent solo potential. It makes getting to 5 stacks of Courage of the Pack easy so you (and everyone near you) can benefit from +10 armor and recovery. I recommend Intellect and Strength stats for this. If you can, get a pair of Sealed Ahamkara Grasps for this setup because the extra smoke charge is excellent. For fireteam and raid play, you might find Shadowshot w/ Black Hole + Light of the Pack is incredibly potent for orb generation. You can use your super to instantly give others enough orbs to let them use their supers. Here, Intellect and Strength are key since Smoke can either be excellent crowd control and damage or a potent recovery tool. I recommend Skyburners Annex here for orb generation with heavy kills. It also lets you collect orbs to recharge a lot of things while also collecting special ammo, which is handy. For PvP, Shadowshot w/ Quiver + Lockdown + Smoke w/ Envenomed is easily your best bet. You will want Discipline and Strength for PvP as your super is not reliable enough in PvP for much outside of prepping groups to be dropped by allies. If you are lucky and skilled, you can down three Guardians with your special. Your grenades and smoke are your best friends here. If you can, grab Fr0st-EE5 boots and you will be cleaning house due to the doubled cooldown rate while sprinting.

Really like playing it. This is finally the support class needed to pull me back to Hunter over my Titan. I've gotta get my grind going and max out my subclass before I can truly judge, but from what I've experienced it is a monster in PvE and a strong contender in PvP if you're fond of guerrilla ambush tactics.

2 RespuestasEarlier today I got year 2 don't touch mes, that makes 3 pieces of exotic armor, sealed grasp, kuncklehead, and the DTM's.. Looking forward to seeing how DTM works in synergy with vanish in smoke
-
You guys outshine any other subclass when it comes to making orbs. ShadowShot is also amazing for crowd control. -Titan Main
#LetsBeFriends #HuntersAndTitans #WarlocksToo
Orb -blam!-ing galore
-
Man, it is a good class. Should I go Stormcaller or Nightstalker for PvE?
-
Super canceler, orb mode activated, and slow ur bic @s$ In a headlock
-
ORB GOD.
-
1 RespuestaIf they make an exotic that gives either blood bound or black hole PvE will be easy mode.
-
All praise blood Bourne and light of the pack Orbs for days.......
-
Quiver plus smoke clouds in PvP.. Wow. I can't wait for Shadestep.

3 RespuestasThe only problem I have with it is in PvP when I tether someone, the effect takes so long to activate that the other guy just runs out of its range. And unlike PvE, the center of the tether doesn't move with the person, so if they're super, they just run away from it and escape. This means, most of the time, the super-cancelling effect of Shadowshot doesn't actually work in PvP.
-
My hunter is only level 10, but I like what I've seen. The NS status effects are really helpful and I love their sideways void grenade. Great for clearing adds round corners.
-
Loving the new Nightstalker subclass. Haven't even bothered with the other two yet - Nightstalker is just so damn awesome at the moment. Being able to see on the mini-map where chests are is the best (Keen Scout Perk). Smoke bomb is sick (DoT in PvP). Shadowshot with blood bound and Light of the Pack for PvE has me pooping orbs for frickin days. Shadowshot with quiver and Predator, or Black Hole and Predator, a super nullifying, crowd controlling, teammate feasting celebration. Nightstalkers are support, so you will not be taking the top spot with your supers, but you can slow the oponents down, and leave them vulnerable for your team to simply as I put it: feast. It is awesome, and about time the Hunter got a decent support class.
-
The melee with the invisi-smoke is great. Using Sealed Ahamkara Grasps for melee x 2. Since our recovery is shit, when things get tough, use a smoke bomb to recover safely.

Orb machine

Love it so far. Still can ninja nurse while having a decent ult and massive orb generation. Loving bloodbound with light of the pack and a sword. Pop the tether, go ham on the highest hp target using the sword and pop orbs like crazy while crap blows up all around you. Pretty damn epic feeling.

2 RespuestasI think it's almost perfect the way it is. My only problem with it is that you can't have decent armor and regeneration at the same time. Agility doesn't really matter to me.
