We all thought that we had it good and that marks were going to be so plentiful during ttk. We were wrong. So very very wrong. In the old days (aka yesterday) you could cap out at [b]600 marks per week.[/b] 100 vanguard and crucible marks for each character, 100*2*3 = 600. Simple math. As of September 15, there are now very few ways to earn marks. This ultimately results in a new cap of [b]240 marks per week.[/b] (give or take how many legendaries you dismantle that week, but each one only drops 3 so good luck) Let me explain. Heroics are now the only way to earn legendary marks and are on a per account basis, not per character. Dailies (crucible and story) both award you 15 a day. Weekly heroics award you 30 per week. 15*2*7+30 = 240. What the actual hell Bungie? The most annoying part of this is you're waving the Year 2 versions of our exotics in our faces, and charging [b]150 marks[/b] to get them back. I'm speechless. Just wow. [spoiler]Suros Arsenal was a scam too[/spoiler] Edit 1: Just a small note, I'm aware that there's not much of a legendary mark drought right now because of quests and what not. But it'll come. Trust me Edit 2: Okay let me highlight a part of the post that some people aren't quite understanding. I'm aware that there are a lot of easy ways to get legendaries now. I'm just salty that I have to go through this whole process over multiple weeks just to get my y1 exotics back. Edit 3: Another thing that people don't understand. I know that the [b]cap[/b] on marks is gone. But that's not the issue. The issue is that there is now a very limited amount of ways to acquire legendary marks. Edit 4: There is no playlist that straight up gives you marks for each strike anymore. Normal crucible does not give you marks anymore. Public events do not give you marks anymore. Edit 5: Bungie did actually say multiple times that old marks wouldn't convert into legendary marks. This was a bit of a d*ck move, but props to them for being upfront about it.
