It's not really destined fault about codes being stolen. That's redbulls issue

Pal I get that.....Red bull doesn't run destiny.....you have to log into destiny after you redeem the code at red bull to run the code.....which means bungie will know who stole the code......thanks for your KINDLY support....good luck redeeming your codes pal....stealing is wrong and that's the issue here.....talk about that.....

Yes THEY can because the data is on their servers....once I loaded my codes and linked MY account they can then match the codes to the thieves account.........lastly I work in (IT).........real easy to catch them......the data is (THERE)!

They have know way of telling of you bought a red bull. Bungie can't check your purchases of red bull it's not possible

Yes they can its the code that is inputted into the servers via your destiny account and link it the code in the thieves account on destiny and boom you catch the thief......Its not about purchase its code.....cans be verified to RED BULL and Bungie by the owners not the thieves that is how you catch a thief.......I work in (IT)......and your wrong. .....Cans and Code catches a thief......

You are actually retarded. Yes then can track the code to the account, but they can not track the purchase of a can to an account. They cannot tell who is the thief and who actually bought the can. The only way that they could track it is if the same credit card is used for both the purchase of the red bull and the purchase of your Xbox live but I'm pretty sure it is illegal to do that. Also it is impossible to check that if the red bull was purchased with cash. And even if red bull could somehow magically track the purchase why would they give a shit. The got their money from your purchase of the can already.

I'm not saying the that it is ok to steal codes. But I am telling him that there is no way to track who stole codes. I bring up very many true and valid points yet he refuses to actually listen to any of them and continues to not come up with any reason of how Bungie would go about catching these thieves.

I am actually not wrong. There is no possible way for bungie or red bull to track who stole the code as they can not track proof of purchase and connect that purchase to an account.

I'm aware that it's wrong I've had like 5 of my codes stolen. I'm pissed of to, they cold have taken some other measure to make sure people couldn't steal them. I can send u a link to a page where you can provide them an image of the tab and they will email you a code for u to get the stuff from it.
