To all against Nolan North
He is a human being and all you guys do is bash him repeatedly calling him gay like he doesn't have feelings. I'm surprised to see the amount of public support cyber bullying has in this forum. It is truly despicable behavior and I am SO disappointed in the Destiny community. You were not satisfied insulting each other's weapons, subclasses and, tactics, as well as stats. NO. Now you have the nerve to insult someone who is working hard and doing his best to give you a good game. Desmond Miles and Nathan Drake... That is Nolan North he has created them from the script to life... It is disturbing to see your animosity toward such an amazing actor. Whether he is gay or not doesn't matter he deserves respect. There is no excuse for this level of rampant cyber bullying. Now I hope this thread trends because North not only deserves respect, he deserves someone in his corner. If you agree please help this post to trend. If you don't... I'm disgusted with the idea of being the same species as you.

Fourth, Nolans a Big Boy , He should not have gotten in Bed with Bungie knowing its a 6/10 game, Blindly reading the Lines at Bungies dictation instead of reading while watching the actual game ( and people complain and said that Dinklage sounded like he Phoned his lines in, Nolan did the Same thing , stand in a sound room staring at a wall reading vague lines of dialogue without context from a studio that already proved Once they are not good at doing it that way ) Fifth, Your an Asshole , and Grow up , being called Gay is not an Insult , if you feel it is you better check your own thought process . Sixth , OMG people are making Off handed comments and jokes ,,,, it's okay to Pay "ALOT" of Money to see Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy, etc , etc , make all kinds of Jokes about White people, i don't see anyone Ringing the fire alarm and calling the cops, but OMG make an Off comment about a Gay person and Watch the -blam!- out you will get Banned from the Destiny Forum because Son2mars is not mature enough to handle adult comments and jokes and sarcasm Seventh, yeah an EXTREMELY FEW people have made some extremely vile comments ,, like 1 out of 5000 posts ,,, the intelligent thing to do is IGNORE those Ignorant people and not fuel their fire, they will go away if you ignore them . Your attitude toward giving special treatment because you are black, Hispanic, gay, or lgbt though disturbs me greatly. Since when does giving special treatment mean equality? I think North would have been a lot better if they casted him first. Dinklage set the stage, the ghost had a deep voice, and was a robot, didn't have much emotion. North is quite the opposite of 'Dinklebot' not as deep voiced, and far more excitement and emotion. This is why I feel people dislike North.

If he was the original ghost voice it would be good. He is more energetic, which is good. The old ghost wasn't as energetic but sounded more serious and to get the job done. So I'm ok with new ghost voice.

It may be just because the change is so jarring. Give it a couple of months. I think Nolan will start to grow on people.

Yes we're used to Dinklebot after a year. And yes I do agree that the new voice isn't great..I do think that they probably modulated it a few octaves too high. Ghosts problems are mostly with the script, some of the lines Dinklage did badly ( I still picture him saying "maybe there could be something out there to help us survive the darkness" on the array mission with his eyes rolled firmly in the back of his head though I swear they remixed it to sound not so bad since the first time I played). Some of the ones North has done dont fit the mood as now established (dark Beyond) Bungie should get an award for making two actors sound this bad

I don't hate North, I just prefer the sound of Dinklebot over the sound over Northbot.

It's only the delivery I have a problem with it could have been better for more then half of the game. Some parts he nailed but still.

The new bot blows. North is a great voice actor. Dont know what happened but I hope they fix it.

Ummm, he voice acted Deadpool and did an amazing job with it. This game, granted he is awesome for voice acting in general, I don't mind him voicing Ghost, but there are moments that make me cringe sadly. :(

I'm one of those people who not only doesn't dislike his performance, but find it to be more in tune with the game. And the overwhelming hate for his version is completely unwarranted with claims that don't even pass a fact check. But it's the internet, and haters gonna hate. Boot up the game, go on patrol and tell me that his voice is squeaky. That's a load of garbage. It's a guilty spark-esq floating AI sounding voice. Nothing more, nothing less.
