To be fair dead orbit has come to grips with the reality that the darkness may never be defeated they are simply warning people to be ready to flee for the survival of the people. I mean how many humans, exos, awoken can actually fight the darkness? It's either they attempt to fight and be slaughtered or escape while the guardians do what they were revived to do protect the light/ traveller
