Where is HoW raid?
Months ago we were promised a new DLC (House of Wolves), and it would include a raid. Then, a little while b4 HoW release, they announced that the raid would not be released at the launch because they wanted more time to work on it.
We have still not seen or heard anything about this HoW raid. All we hear about now is TTK. So here is some questions.
-Should we even still expect this raid?
-If the raid comes out, will the gear be Year 1 gear, or Year 2? Since the raid was supposed to be released in Year 1, I expect it would be obsolete Year 1 gear.
-Will there be anything else released with this raid (assuming it is released), to make up for the complete lack of anything concerning the raid for months?
Sadly, I doubt we will hear anything back from bungie about this raid.

There are at least a dozen other posts like this one. There isn't going to be a house of wolves raid. They said they were working on a raid for later in the year. It's likely they avoided making a raid for HoW so that they could focus on the raid for TTK

The best part was during the uproar about the lack of a raid, fanboys constantly kept saying "stop being a crybaby, you're still getting a raid, but you just have to wait a few months."

[b][i][u]Secondly,[/u][/i][/b] Bungie never said anything about a raid anyway after that [u][b][i]ONE[/i][/b][/u] image was data-mined saying HoW had a raid. [b][i][u]Finally,[/u][/i][/b] After PoE was revealed, they again said nothing about a raid being included in HoW, PoE was the equivalent. When they talked about their 'new raid' they were talking about King's Fall, TTK's raid. Now can we please stop asking about the HoW raid?

Prison of elders is it I'm afraid ,the raid they promised us is kings fall that's what they meant by there will be a raid this year but not with the house of wolves.

Not once was I ever promised a raid for how. I did hear a raid would come out later in the year. The gear it give is solely on the developers as long they work for level 40 I wouldn't give 2 sh it's what it looks like the design of the gear is not gonna help me kill

Sigh.. The original Raid idea was called "The Arena". What do you think PoE is? I don't think they wanted to call PoE a Raid (they shouldnt..it isnt) and just gave it a name change.

It does. It's called the Prison of Elders. Me and a buddy even got an achievement for doing a raid with only clan members for doing the 32 together.

They never said HoW was going to have raid. Everyone assume there was going to be one, but bungie never said "HoW is going to have a raid" When they announced about How not having a raid, they said "later this year there is going to be a raid" which, there is. They never said it's going to be in HoW though..

8 RespuestasI think the Prison Of Elders was all they intended for us, there might have been a raid planned but it's been completely mothballed. My guess is it was either; A) worse than Crota by enough that they got rid of it all together. Or B) PrisonOfElders was originally going to be a raid but they decided to make it what it is now because it just wasn't going to cut it as a raid

Don't worry. I remember. I also remember when I bought season pass it included 2 raids. Spelled out in plain English.

They said, about a month or two before House of Wolves was even released that there wasn't going to be a raid activity in House of Wolves. They never said that is was being delayed, they never said we'd get it later in the year.
