Forcing us to pvp for Invective
I know I could just erase the weapon bounty. I want the gun, but I hate pvp. Why are those bounties structured around pvp. Bungie, you don't understand a sizable majority of your player base hates pvp? Please do something about the lag switchers, they're all over the place in this game.

Almost all of the exotic bounties have a pvp portion. Get over it scrub

Don't worry, they will flip a switch for the entire community for easy noob mode and auto complete bounties next week.. Smh

If horrible players can get thorn, you can get invective.

I finished it by doing skirmish with some clan mates. I also had a new hopscotch pilgrim that I was toying with. We just stayed close enough to cover one another but not close enough to become someone's triple kill. I think assists count towards that 25 k/d that you need so just do damage to every kill your fire team gets

1 RespuestaI hate PvP as I suck at it...did it stop me from doing the bounties and entering IB for the armor? No. Just go positive at any cost, even if you'll die to secure the 2nd kill per life. Thats how I ended up finishing the invective bounty.

I think there should be two routes to take for exotic bounties. A PvP or a PvE route. You pick which one you want and go for it. This way everybody is happy. Ive had the Thorn bounty taking up a slot for like 2 months now. Dont feel like doing it. Ive got all the other regular exotic bounties done. At least the exotic bounties will be auto completed for us here soon.

I absolutely hate Destiny's PvP but I was able to do every exotic quest from year one. By far the hardest one for me was the Thorn. The Incentive one was pretty easy. Just keep at it and focus on doing the PvP part. It isn't hard even if your bad like me and hate doing PvP. I have no close friends on Destiny so all my PvP matches were with randoms. Good luck at completing the quest.

I didn't like pvp until these bounties. I find the guns you have to play pvp for tend to be good in pvp and therefore help with the other bounties. If you really don't want to do it just wait. It will be autocompleted when 2.0 comes around.

I finished it without waiting for next week's exotic bounty auto completes because I feel guilty I'll be gifted the Thorn.

Well, it's going to auto complete on sept. 15, so you shouldn't have to worry

If you have the bounty still it sounds like you'll get it for free on 8th. Read the weekly update.

I dislike PvP as well, but invective doesn't take very long to get. You can usually get it in two to 5 games. Thorn's Crucible section can be a big pain though.

Lol nobody's forcing you to do anything... And btw it's beyond easy.. Even the thorn bounty is easy you just need to put a little more effort into the game

The thorn bounty is sooooo much worse, invective is basically a cake-walk since your assists count towards that 25 k/d, plus it's across multiple matches if I remember right.

1 RespuestaThis is literally the easiest bounty to complete in PvP unless you are utter shit. I'm terrible at PvP yet I have 2 thorns (epilogue and word), invective, bad juju (10K points in crucible). It's cake man, seriously.

I used to feel the way you do, but after giving PvP a try I actually enjoy it. I might not be that great 1.20 K/D but I have fun, thats what the game is about after all....having fun. Give it a try, you might surprise yourself.
