Storm fist does more damage than scortch. People don't actually realise that scortch doesn't actually have a damage increase. It's as damaging as a regular melee. It's also as ranged as blink strike and energy drain.

Scorch does 150 damage and then also burning damage

Scorch does 158 damage the same as SF. Scorch just applies it via DoT
