In terms of ideals... I imagine all of them are wrong in a way. But FWC makes the most sense. The darkness is coming, it's best to learn how to fight the darn thing. Dead Orbit's plan to run away isn't bad. But face it, the Darkness already scorched Venus + Mars + whatever else. Who's to say they won't be chased and destroyed eventually. The chances of humanity's survival out there are slim to none. Running away only works when you have a chance: but when your enemy consists of multiple alien races you are kind of screwed. New Monarchy... they just want to take control. They're politicians. While I don't disagree that the Speaker is not all that benevolent, their thing is "we can rule better than he can" I'm sure some story element in the future will shake things up a bit: like a reveal that the Traveller is the darkness, there is no darkness, Humans were the darkness, whatever.
