According to this, Eris Morn only escaped the moon because of us! In the story missions when you open up the moon's catacombs, she is able to escape! (Plus the rest of the article gives good information about Destiny's story!)

Truer words have never been spoken.
Edit: It says at the beginning that everything in the article is confirmed by Bungie unless stated otherwise
Edit 2: If you haven't noticed Gameinformer has a lot of other nifty articles about Destiny. Go check them out!

1 RespuestaThe most interesting part is when the article talks about the person the stranger talks to in that one cutscene, that the person may be you from the future. Perhaps Destiny's lack of story is a vital part of the story as a whole. Maybe Destiny 1's plot (or lack thereof) is only like that to set the foundations for what might be revealed in future installments.

I knew most of this. But then again i've also visited a ton of lore dedicated threads and done some digging of my own. There is quite a bit of detail they miss that is floating around. Like how skolas's big horns that are on his back are most likely ahamkara bones. And that when skolas visited the future or some place he saw oryx and tried to tell the queen about him after he is captured. Or The explanation of the vault of glass in more detail and what events unfold. How you can even beat atheon etc. People should read the article though.

5 RespuestasGI is putting out so many destiny articles. So tiring.

It's pretty sad eh, that we had to learn the "story" from GameInformer rather than Bungie themselves. I like the game but I hate how they have told the story. One of the worst for sure in my opinion. People say "it's in the grimoire cards maybe you should read them idiot" I have read them and I do like what they have to say but they still aren't part of the story in the game. They jump play hopscotch with you in the story, jumping from one thing to the other not explaining a damn thing. Hopefully the taken King improves on that

2 RespuestasEditado por G4LL0WGL455: 8/26/2015 1:14:52 AMI just read the whole game informer article. This should be on everyone's read list. People buying TTK and "jumping in" at Level 25 to play TTK content have missed a lot. And unless they play all year one content they will have a major disconnect to the game.

2 RespuestasThis means nothing unless theres an actual cutscene in the game showing it.
