Getting straight to my point, I think that the spike grenade is by far the worse grenade in this entire game.
-Its extremely slow
-Has a pitiful duration
-Disgraceful damage
-Extremely obvious
At most it serves as an entertaining light show at the end of a match when you are simply waiting for the game to end.
Out of my experience I've seen that grenade used only in the very first months of vanilla Destiny, and anyone who is aware of the meta of crucible doesn't seem to use it. Not once have I seen it used in trials. I am not saying that it's nearly non existent use in end game crucible is proof of it's lack luster properties but a indication.
Alternatively the Nightstalker could receive the suppressor grenade from the Defender subclass which I feel would work more with the new void hunter class "crowd control" like appearance. Please Bungie, reconsider this choice, seeing how TTK isn't out yet I know it is very possible to make this minor tweak to the new expansion.

98 RespuestasDid Titans ever complain about having that piece of shit grenade? No. What happened when the Hunters got it? They complained and asked for the one grenade that made defenders good in PvP. So its not a big deal when titans not only have the worst PvP subclass and the worst grenade to boot but when Hunters get a better subclass with the same crap grenade they complain? That's funny. Titans (Which I am one of)... Titans don't even have a bolt grenade for Christ sakes, yet Hunters have one and Warlocks have 2, one of which chases you for a half mile. Titans already had to live with the spike grenade, so why can't you? I thought I always heard hunters are better. Then there's the warlocks... Not only do they get the pulse grenade but they also get a lightning grenade, and perks to instantly recharge their grenade and chain their damage. Now you Hunters... Your super can kill, cancel supers (equivalent of suppressor grenades), shoot 3 shots and tether enemies thus crippling them. Your slash grenade looks like one of the best in the game. Have an enemy hiding behind cover? Slash grenade. Gotta block off an entire hallway from the inside? Slash grenade. See my point yet? You also get another movement mode, evade, and titans still get their same old t-rex arms. Don't even get me started on your smoke ability. My point is, just deal with it.

Editado por SuggestedPigeon: 10/7/2015 8:18:59 PMSpike grenade buff would also help out defenders so I'm a fan of that decision. What if they had a pull radius? Like at a certain distance it would slightly pull you in. It could be used to pull enemies out of cover and do some decent damage, thereby following the lead of things like axion bolt or vortex. A lot of grenades need some buffs, especially skip grenades. Absolutely useless.

1 RespuestaIt's a good choice. All your nades are about area control.
-
I don't like it as much as voidwall, but the spike grenade is actually pretty good. It's completely silent and good for throwing on Control points or in corners where people are camping. Most of the time it will get at least one or two kills if timed right. Doesn't need replaced/buffed.
-
If it was a competent grenade it would be great for area denial
-
It really does only serve to tickle the enemy.
-
Where is the keep it option
-
It's about time you experience the worse grenade as Defender Titans have.
-
I hate Sticky grenades so suppressor probably
-
Give them axion bolt
no please dont
-
They need to buff it or remove from hunter AND titan. It's. Sooooooooo bad
-
3 RespuestasIt's meant to be for area denial not damage
-
3 RespuestasHow about keeping it the same. Titans seem to manage with it and now the complaining starts hunters get it...
Typical
1 Respuestayep change this and also give the stormcaller the lightning grenade back. pulse is trash

1 RespuestaDoes anyone know if the void wall grenade will always go towards a target? Or does it go in the same direction every time?
-
I used the spike grenade when the nexus strike rolled around with void burn. As you get into the darkness zone to kill the 3 servitors, I would throw it against the wall where the first few fallen spawn... That was it... I would keep it in my inventory the entire rest of the strike. Maybe throw it at a Minotaur. So yes, I think the suppressor grenade would be better.
-
Or give you guys a scatter grenade
-
3 RespuestasAfter using my nightstalker hunter for a while now, if you're not using voidwall you're doing it wrong anyway.
-
Keep in mind, if they replaced the spike with a suppressor grenade, that'll take away a zone control grenade, and if you use suppressor grenade, it'd ruin the synergy of the one perk that makes grenades last longer. The new subclasses have incredible synergy potential
-
i like it. i imagine it's sucking in the soul of my enemies
-
3 RespuestasThe spike grenade is hard to place but when you learn how to use it it's fantastic
-
7 RespuestasAs much as I would love for the suppressor grenade to be on the Nightstalker, I really think that would be giving that subclass too much utility. I just think they should buff spike grenade because it is the worst grenade in the game and would benefit both the Defender and Nightstalker.

1 RespuestaEditado por Phi-7: 8/26/2015 6:17:47 AMNone of the options, as the Spike grenade is pretty powerful in PvP for Defenders. Sure it has a short duration, but its cone can hit half a team or more if you set it up properly during an engagement. That and it causes mass panic when their shields are popped in a bath of light, giving you time to kill the stragglers smart enough to get out of the rays. Edit: Its lack of use is simply just the meta copping out for burn and forget grenades, as I personally find a well placed spike grenade to be nearly impossible to escape without abandoning your objective. Like a land mine in a sense.

Your poll should have an option for - It's fine

1 RespuestaOf course a Hunter complains about this, never heard a Titan complain about it.
