So I know everyone is freaking out about Year 1 weapons being left behind but can we go back and talk about the fact that Hard Light will have no Damage Falloff? Combined with the AR buff, I can't wait to shred people with it in PvP!

Hard Light
Hard Light is a beloved weapon. We want it to be better. The new flexibility we have with Damage Falloff as an independently tuned value gave us a great new avenue to push this exotic a little bit harder into its fantasy.
Changes:
•Increase base Stability to 80 (was 65)
•Increase bounce count for Hard Light projectiles
•Hard Light projectiles are not affected by Damage Falloff

Edit:
Increase bounce count for Hard Light projectiles
•Hard Light projectiles are not affected by Damage Falloff
They say "Increase bounce count for Hard Light Projectiles"
Then they go on to say "Hard Light projectiles are not affected by Damage Falloff"
If "Hard Light projectile" only referred to the projectiles that bounce, they would just have said "Increase number of Hard Light projectiles"
A "Hard Light projectile" is anything that comes out of the barrel end of "Hard Light".
It's like saying "Gjallarhorn Projectiles". You're not talking about the Wolfpack rounds themselves. You're talking about the rocket.

2 RespuestasYou're reading too much into it. Hard Light would be waaaaay over powered with the fusion rifle buff and NO range drop off? I don't think you understand how powerful it is. They are clearly talking about the projectiles that ricochet. I feel like if the gun itself had no range drop off they'd say something like "rounds from hard light". They use the word projectile as a definition of the ricochet bullets

I'll be using this a lot more in patrols when this kicks in.

3 RespuestasI think that just means whatever bullets ricochet, right?
