How can you max the garbage ass no backup plans for year 2 of Destiny but leave the best and most sought after exotic behind.
I will honestly be fine with whatever replacements I get. I know I will enjoy taken king as well. But I can't fathom how they could leave back Gally and bring something so garbage forward
Ohh.... It looks like no max damage thorn either. Trials will be much more fun
Edit: Anyone that wants to post something to the effect "give Gally a rest" " we need something new to use" "who wants to use the same weapons" thing needs to think of what they're saying. You make these comments as if the devs are putting a gun to your head and forcing you to use Gally all the time. If it stayed for TTK nothing would force you, me or anybody else to use it anymore than the next weapon. So please make an argument to that and I'll be glad to have an actual conversation to it

Sought after? It was handed out last week!

there's a few I really want Gally isn't one of them

5 RespuestasI don't see what's so surprising, many of these guys don't play Destiny much. One of the guys in charge of making those decisions has been trying to get bad juju all year, and still hasn't got it. So I'm guessing he chose what exotics to push into year 2 according to his favorite colors.

No Backup Plans being brought up can be one of the best things to happen to Defenders in PvP. I think it'll make Defenders a lot more viable in PvP. Pop a bubble, get your WoL, get the hell away from that bubble before someone gets a triple kill on your team, go shotgun some guys, become a god.

1 RespuestaBungie hates the Ghorn, it has polarized their community, made end game activities trivial, and generally caused bitterness towards Bungie in a lot of people.
-
2 RespuestasThere's trying to make the irrelevant things that no one used in year 1 actually relevant in year 2
-
Bungie isn't holding the gun to my head, LFG is.
-
Gjallahorn is op. It doesnt need to be in year 2.
-
3 RespuestasI think they're focusing on the weaker exotics since nobody used them and they never had their time in the spotlight. Gjallarhorn has been the pinnacle of pve exotics since the first month.
-
I honestly don't care I welcome new wepons and exotics. That being said I play alot and have had my time with everything except for 4th horseman which has eluded me. I feel for the more casual players that may never have a chance to try out some of the year 1 weapons. I'm very happy about month carlo and hawkmoon moving forward and I'm sure the xbox community will love getting to know them at max level.

Point is No Backup Plans suck so they're making them better. Gally ain't need no nuffink.
-
7 RespuestasI love how they announced fan favorite exotics are being upgraded but so far thorn , gally, mida are all out , while no back up plans makes it like wtf no uses or like no back up plans cause they suck , and are hideous. So one to suppose a trade on of the good exotics that aren't making it for those pieces of shit

3 RespuestasThe one thing that fails to make sense to me is: why nerf Icebreaker and Gjallarhorn 1 week before become obsolete in terms of endgame power?
-
1 RespuestaBring all the Raid and PoE exotics to year two not Ghorn

Editado por PouringRayn: 8/21/2015 4:35:42 AMEither bring all of them forward, or leave them all behind (I'd be OK with either). Don't choose them for us.

Editado por BryBeCookin: 8/21/2015 4:33:31 AMNO BACKUP PLAN HOESSSSS!
-
6 RespuestasEditado por Blade: 8/21/2015 3:24:53 AMThey're clearing the way for other exotics. If Galky was still relevant in TTK, no one would use anything else. They're breaking that habit. Forcing us to use other exotics.

3 RespuestasWith Gjallarhorn we already had enough people yelling NERF cause they never got one so Bungie listened, now everyone has one cause tentacle face sold it and everyone was freaking out, now everyone is screaming DON'T NERF and WHY LEAVE BEHIND and for what? 1 rocket launcher that is the most used and most sought after exotic that was your gateway to the destruction of all bosses. The gun is overpowered. 1 rocket + Wolfpack Rounds is equivalent to 2 rockets of any other launcher. It needed the nerf. And now Bungie doesn't want to carry it through to Y2 because they still don't want it to be the crutch the everyone has to have for end game content. And have some variety. The thing might as well be called Universal Remote since it's good for everything. Yes it is amazing and yes it is fun to use. But Bungie and I think a majority of the community doesn't want 1 gun to determine your status as a destiny player. But think of it this way: now you'll have a Y1 exotic that the bundle babies of Y2 probably won't get their hands on for a while. It's time to put it up on the wall.

IMO Gally was the gun in Year 1. It was that gun everyone wanted, and everyone used. It was the king for PvE content..in Year 1. Now, we need a new king. It's nice to have something fresh. And besides, Ghorn will still be a force to reckon with in Year 1 content.

12 RespuestasEditado por Chit Chat: 8/21/2015 3:49:01 AMBut I heard that they're changing them to where if you get a shotgun kill while wearing them it activates force barrier automatically. Edit: Along with the duration increase and Monte Carlo you could have instant Force Barriers constantly!

Thunderlord is confirmed god

1 RespuestaThey're nerfing thorn anyway... Why remove it?
-
1 RespuestaGjallarhorn is not the most sought after gun in the game, and they're buffing No Backup Plans.

NBP looks swaggly af, man. And Gjallarhorn doesn't need a year two buff, I'm sure it'll still be decent as long as you're character is high enough level. I still use a few 331 weapons when fighting Skolas, and they seem to perform fine.
