How can you max the garbage ass no backup plans for year 2 of Destiny but leave the best and most sought after exotic behind.
I will honestly be fine with whatever replacements I get. I know I will enjoy taken king as well. But I can't fathom how they could leave back Gally and bring something so garbage forward
Ohh.... It looks like no max damage thorn either. Trials will be much more fun
Edit: Anyone that wants to post something to the effect "give Gally a rest" " we need something new to use" "who wants to use the same weapons" thing needs to think of what they're saying. You make these comments as if the devs are putting a gun to your head and forcing you to use Gally all the time. If it stayed for TTK nothing would force you, me or anybody else to use it anymore than the next weapon. So please make an argument to that and I'll be glad to have an actual conversation to it

16 RespuestasQuote from Tyson:
So in Year 2 we´ve actually taken some Year 1 exotics...some favourites, and we made them better
favourites favourites No Backup plans...I´m laughing so hard right now

2 RespuestasI'm kind of salty about them leaving Thorn behind, actually. It was my very first exotic, and the ongoing story of Jaren Ward/Shin Malphur/Dredgen Yor is possibly the most well-developed bit of lore in the game so far. Are we really abandoning all that in the middle of the story just because Thorn got out of hand in PvP for a while? Maybe the thing that ought to be left behind in Year 2 is actually the Crucible!

They wanted to make shittier exotic better, and you're complaining?

6 RespuestasEditado por RurouniDante: 8/21/2015 11:52:40 PMLet me get the popcorn. You seem to have plenty of salt, so I think we are OK.... I'll share, of course...

Did you hear about the perks of no backup plans? I want them! Seriously powerful!
-
4 RespuestasIt's a way for them to add "new" content by taking old exotics that they feel are under appreciated or just not as good as they could be and making them better besides people already complain about gally and thorn and all the others what could they do that wouldn't make them way op or total crap
-
2 RespuestasFinally someone gets it! Very strong points made.

(I've had ghally since the first month of the game, I'm not amongst those who shut others out or got shut out) ghally has had its run and quite frankly I'm fine leaving it behind.

2 RespuestasDude, Even Less Back Up Plans will wreck. It's gonna be so much better than the old ones. I just wish they changed with shaders :/
-
4 RespuestasThey said they're upgrading fan favorites

1 RespuestaFrom the weapon tuning 2.0 post, specifically the section about shotguns:
Goals: Shotgun is most effective at very close range Complements melee attacks and other close-quarters class builds Offensively closing on an enemy with a Shotgun is a risk/reward timing game Curb Shotgun effectiveness in PVE slightly to reintroduce some risk when closing on a powerful enemy
No backup plans will supplement shotgun builds. Specializing exotics is good for the game. It might actually provide some diversity in armor and class builds.

1 RespuestaNice post, good point well made.

1 RespuestaDid praxic fire get shown advancing
-
2 Respuestasprobably because no one ever said must have no back up plans to join raid party. :)
-
2 RespuestasDrop all the exotics!!!! Restart the grind!!!!!
-
2 RespuestasThe year 2's will never understand our beautiful nuke. But the new nuke will be the sleeper stimulant.
-
2 RespuestasThe argument is this, the fact that we directly compete with each other via crucible, trials, iron banner is enough reason. Why should I have to compete against someone that spent a fraction of the effort to get that exotic sword? (example)

1 RespuestaEditado por Dexter307: 8/21/2015 5:24:56 PM*facepalm* Op is obviously just a dumb kid. Ignore him everyone, I've already muted him.

It's quite simple. They don't want us to use it! with the way they're doing things they can also finally phase out every weapon perk they didn't want us using. Things like field scout and last round on shotguns. I hope they're putting something good on my invective to replace last round.

13 RespuestasDid you even read the changes they are making to the NBP?
-
2 RespuestasThose changes to no backup plans sound pretty OP though I bet you'll see alot more D titan's in crucible.
-
3 RespuestasBecause no back up plans is an armor piece and gally is a weapon -_-
-
Don't worry one of the expansions will bring back exotics from year 1 just like etheric light did. It's a business model to make $$$. That's why the vaults bigger. I won't make the mistake of deleting any weapons I like again. Cough shadow price.
they'll be back when bungie can profit from it
-
They don't want Gjallerhorn to be the best gun in the game anymore is my guess. Same reason that they're leaving behind thorn

1 RespuestaGet your god-damned logic outta here!

Editado por OurWildebeest: 8/21/2015 4:57:11 PMIt all makes sense if you imagine the game designers feeling dislike and contempt for players, and trying to get revenge on them. Seriously, look at it that way and every decision suddenly looks inevitable. BECAUSE THIS IS THE ACTUAL EXPLANATION.
