Is old gen holding back next gen?

W/out old gen- - more vault space - bigger areas - more loot - more story missions, strikes, raids -etc. Edit: 50 replies Edit 2: No idea this thread would blow up. And to all those calling me a stupid -BLAM-, you just need to pray to Buddha more Edit 3: almost 400 replies Edit 4: 549 replies
- more vault space
Has nothing to do with hardware. Cloudservers, if used properly (which they aren't in Destiny's case) can easily take the weight off the CPU.
- bigger areas
Next gen already handles larger areas than old consoles. If you're referring to planet size then hardware makes no difference since the entire map is never ever loaded.
- more loot
What? You get less loot... because... you think... older systems can't handle loot?
- more story missions, strikes, raids
Also completely irrelevant to the systems hardware. My questions to OP: • Did you even have the slightest idea of what you wanted to share with the forum prior to writing? • Why did you not even make a half-arsed attempt at reading something related to coding, software and hardware? • Are you a fan of apple products? Edit: Now that the first stream has confirmed that Bungie figured out how to DOUBLE the vault space........... /thread
