They're nerfing blink, so nerf shoulder charge
With the news from GF today they will be nerfing the blink jump in an unspecified way in the 2.0 aka "the complainers" update.
It already can't be done three times in a row.
It already has the shortest distance and height.
You also can not reload during this type of jump.
Two out of three classes have it. Titans are the only class that don't and they're the only one with shoulder charge.
Can we see a nerf of shoulder charge then?

All in all look at my hunters kd and everything compared to my Titan it's like almost 1.4 compared to 1.0 and my hunter was my last made character only leveled up during the TDB Titans are by far the hardest to use in crucible their super is hard to multikill with, unless idiots are standing together, and shoulder charge can't close a gap...like at all So please stop making yourself look like a moron when u have a .7 kd with a Titan (which just goes to show you can't even use these supposedly "op tactics") Blade dancer Hunters equal easy mode in crucible and I love all three characters so there is literally no hate Gunslingers have a good super but blink and QuickDraw along with a mobile powerful super great agility and backstab that procs like 50% of the time from the front id say it's not even close when your choosing the best crucible class

The cool down time on blink is pretty long, but it could be a little longer. Hopefully this is the only change they make. It's pretty frustrating when players blink around randomly. 99% of the time they have no idea what they are doing, it's the same as button mashing in a fighting game. A very cheap way of staying alive, until you can get a cheap shotgun shot, or recover. With an increased cooldown, blinking will be used by those who know what they are doing to gain a short term advantage. Instead of players just spamming the jump until they get a good positioning.

6 RespuestasI don't think either should be nerfed. I think balancing should be done with buffs, thank you very much. Why do we always have to get weaker? Why can't it be "That hunter (let's face it that's who were talking about) just blink shottied me 10 times in a row. Can't I get a stronger shoulder charge to counter it?" Or you could plan for the maneuver, but that's asking you to think and use tactics so I won't push the point

Definition of melee(hand-to-hand fight.) shoulder charge is not an upclose attack more of a ranged attack. Definition of lunge(any sudden forward movement.) that describes shoulder charge and blink.

Shoulder charge: requires close range Requires a charge up time Can be easily yoinked with a shotgun Blink: Can dodge rockets, supers, grenades, shoulder charge, and pretty much everything else. Can be used to easily get shotgun kills because instead of requiring you to run up to someone to get close range, you can just teleport a certain distance with one button. Your argument is irrelevant
