For those who are 'Against-Nerf', you could spin Xur around, make him drop his shitty drawers, force him to bend over, and manually insert every strange coin you have at your disposal into his ass, until he is so f()king sick and sore that, like a slot machine, he shits 365 Gjallahorn after 365 Gjallahorn, then continually shoulder barge him until he is so badly beaten, broken and scarred that he has no choice but to remit and restore your Wolfpack Rounds to their former glory. That way, everyone is happy. Everyone, except Xur, but at-least he has a shitload of coins to pay the medical bills until next week, where you'll find him cowering in a corner on Mercury, so you'll have to go flawless in Trials even to find him...

3 RespuestasThis does actually shit on its value. However, I've had mine since day 3 in the game and have enjoyed having one while it took 8+ months for all my friends to get one. I have been the one to carry people through the early lvl 22-24 strikes and heroics. I have taken it through the vault at lvl 28. It was my first 300 weapon right before a 300 Crusader 1. I have used it to pwn people in crucible back when everyone still used blue weapons. I am this weapons legacy, I am what made it the most treasured weapon in the game to this date. It's something you will never be. That is why I don't care.

34 RespuestasAll you're gonna see is noobs using it on absolutely everything, making each strike, mission, etc. boring as hell. It makes no sense. I've never seen a game basically hand out the clear best weapon in the game. It's disturbing odd. It looked like they were making good changes, but I stand corrected. They just don't get it.

42 RespuestasPretty lame to see end game equipment just sold for a few strange coins in my opinion. Yeah I get you earned your strange coins. But you are basically saying everyone who has completed 1 or 2 weekly heroics deserves a gally. If you think heroics are hard then you need a slap. RNG is what makes a game interesting, you don't know what you are going to get. I have a gally yet actively avoid people who have a requirement of gally because I find it quite sad. But the fact that everyone now has a gally just seems a let down to me. For me Bungie need to add a new best exotic that is hard to obtain, and they need to keep it that way to keep the game interesting.

2 RespuestasAs someone who has had Gally for a while now I couldn't care less either way. I honestly don't understand the whole trend of people thinking how someone else wants to play their game affects them. I know someone that just recently got one and is a bit jaded that after all the time of grinding to get it and finally getting it now it's being sold. That I can understand, but otherwise I just don't understand the frustration either way. Then again I always preferred hunger to gally anyway because it saves my exotic slot for something I can actually use more that 7 times every 5 minutes.

This individual was essentially critiquing the premise behind Destiny lore, which basically means that the Universe was being overrun by imposing, powerful, alien races. If so, why equip the Guardians defending its last safe haven with a nerfed weapon load-out? Can anyone answer that, because I can't?

You can speed-kill every Boss in the game inside 30-seconds with it, and Bungie knows it, and because the game inherently lacks content, they want it gone. Also, the other reason it got nerfed is because the TTK light-level cap is 40. The higher light-level you are, the more damage you deal. Bungie would obviously have play-tested a fire team of 6 level 34 Guardians firing a maxed OP Gjallahorn at Oryx himself, and obviously they came to the conclusion that it would destroy him in no time, let-alone when Guardians reached light-level 40. That's why the Wolfpack Round nerf will be immense, because its so f(king powerful. They created Frankenstein's monster with it, and the only solution they could come up with is to make it a nerfed Year One Exotic, that cannot be restored to its original state. That's why they want it gone, and if you think the nerf won't be immense, you simply have no idea what you're talking about. I don't even have to provide evidence for my rationale, because Bungie's actions speak a-thousand words alone. Case closed!

Three of us took out Valus in no time at all. The Archon Priest? No problem. Kaliks the reborn servitor? Forget about the guys that give him ether and just blast the servitor with rockets! Fun weapon.
