I got my first one from the exotic chest in vog and had no idea what it was. Everyone in the party was freaking out and asking me how did I feel and I just was like. What is it..

I dismantled it because it was November and I had no idea that the Gjallarhorn would be the most coveted weapon in the game. I got my second and last one... In June.

I got it before I got any legendaries, I don't even know what an exotic was or how it worked, I got in crucible and was like, uhh whys it yellow, how tf do you say that word, it looks cool I'll equip it, never would I realise my first exotic was the one everyone was going to be seeking for all of destiny

My first Gally, got it playing crucible. Looked at its stats compared to the Truth, figured Truth was way better for PvP cuz that's 100% all I played at that time. Dismantled. Note that I got that 1st Gally about my 3rd week into playing. So my reaction was more like ooooh what's this... looks cool.... darn, meh....Fuk it.

Got mine a week before crota hard mode came out. That shit was levelled super fast.

Ok, got my first Gally. My teammates were more excited than I was saying what the hell u mean ok, it's a -blam!-in Gally. I was happy but didn't just get that excited over a weapon but beating Skolas with arc burn sure did, that bastard!!!

Got mine last week on my 3rd NF run. My first thing was a nice quiet 'holy crap'. Was surprised to see it. Happy to have it in the arsenal and its fun to use for velocity alone.
