I don't have it on this account, but I got it on my original account like the 1st or 2nd week the game was out. All I knew was that it looked bad ass. It still only does 287 damage.

After taking a 9 month break, and not buying it from Xur when he first sold it a long time ago, I finally got it from a 3 man normal Crota kill. The funny thing is, it didn't show up as a reward on my screen (I just saw someone getting universal remote). So my buddies on voice chat were like "Hey you got gjallarhorn finally! Nice!" And I'm like "What? Are you sure?" Totally non-plussed. Sure enough, I head to orbit and I do have it. I smiled, but perhaps also because I knew about the nerf, I didn't go all crazy "YESSS!" like some reactions I've seen on youtube.

Mine was a mixed result, I joined a Nightfall right before the boss and had like 11 kills. My two friends got shards and a dup legendary so I was please but felt bad.

Early in the morning before work and so had a muted response. My friend who has put in some serious hours without getting one was very philosophical which also muted my joy. Made my day though.
