We've killed his son. He's pissed. I don't think six guardians will be enough. I mean he's a hive god! The vanguard has to realize that six guardians with guns might not cut it this time. Twelve though, twelve guardians would stand a heck of a better chance.
Note: Untitled note
Edit: So far from what I'm seeing most people think twelve is too many, so I think nine would make a better choice then. It seems that most people have problems trying to find six guardians to actually complete a raid with. Communication is definitely an issue that needs to be addressed for large group missions.
Adding in a raid matchmaking option (and I stress the word option) would make guardians to raid with easier. Now first they would have to increase the maximum number of guardians in a fireteam from six to nine. That way if you only have three guardians you could be matched with a group of six. By making matchmaking an option, if your team of eight doesn't want an extra guardian you wouldn't be forced too.
Communication is another big issue that needs to be addressed. Most people avoid the in game voice channels because of how bad they are, but trying to have nine people talking to each other would be a nightmare. What needs to happen is for Bungie to give each fireteam one voice channel per three guardians. That way not everyone is on the same channel all the time. A shout feature needs to be added in as well so you can quickly communicate on all channels. Not to mention that the in game voice chat needs to be vastly improved.
Thanks for all the comments and please keep posting them, I'm really interested in your opinions.

There will be a one man cheese within a week
-
But what if their 6 guardians with more pew pews. That should do it.
-
They don't have the server strength. Also, these baddies can barely handle 6, imagine coordinated 11 of these tard cakes? No Ty

1 RespuestaShut up meg

Cmon dude 12 men? Other games like boarderlands have 4 man raid teams. 6 is s great # 12 would just mean more enemies higher levels and less fun
-
The servers would explode
-
I always thought they should add a NPC that can't die and provides at least cover fire on certain sections of maps. I mean it would be pretty badass to have Cayde-6 in the fire team wreaking all the enemies.
-
Good idea. But wishful thinking. Bungie seems to have a hard enough time supporting 12 people on a server in pvp. I'd hate to see the laggy mess a 12 player raid would present. Sadly they need to get a six player raid right still. I agree about matchmaking option, also stress emphasis on Option!

2 RespuestasEditado por Rabid: 8/9/2015 6:08:42 PM24 man raid where certain adds need to be contained for ex amount of time by the hunter arrow and x amount of adds need to be killed in one shot by a nova bomb while a Titan kites them around to a group if u fail the boss enrages and it's a wipe gooo bosses of a real mmo and where teamwork is needed and teach these kids how a game should be played
-
That is like asking a newborn to do your taxes

6 Man matchmaking for Normal Mode and 9 man with no matchmaking for Hard. Require that must complete all checkpoints in normal before joining a 9 man team for Hard.
-
6 RespuestasCould you imagine...... It takes one player to cause a wipe...... Gathering 11 other people and trusting them not to ruin everything is more faith than I have to offer....
-
Operation We need more than 6 for these missions. These mission require careful planning and strategy. Get a team of 6 and find 2 other teams of 6 to brave these challenges.
-
That'll be very nice ,finally have spots for everyone I play with ,won't have to split into 2 raid groups anymore
-
The title sounds filthy
-
Crota deserved a TTK-sized dlc but instead we got a glorified strike and Necrochasm
-
Unless someone goes to there local supermarket and get cheese.
-
We should 1v1 him...
-
I mean oryx can't handle 12 men. Other games that are pure mmo can manage but remember destiny is a part mmo game, plus fps, and other stuff. Plus lag man, lag

8 RespuestasAs a WoW player, when I hear the word "RAID", I imagine a 10-25 group going in and killing mobs. Then we proceed onto mini-bosses like in Obsidian Sanctum or real bosses that aren't bullet sponges like Malygos.

9 one for each subclass
-
Way too many people. This is not Warcraft.
-
well, since normal raids are buggy as shit, i disagree
-
3 RespuestasThat would be WAAAAAYYYY to frickin hard to coordinate that many people on a weekly basis.

guys...OP may be right. 6 guardians struggled to put down the prince of glitches. Cant imagine how many of us it will take to keep his dad's glitches in check. All jokes aside, it sounds hectic but fun. I feel like it'd b too annoying to have everyone talking and not knowing whos who or being able to keep track But we arent even to that point yet. The question is, is Bungie even able to put something like that together? Not because of older gens. But because they struggle to keep even 12 guardians together in a crucible match for 15 minutes. Are they actually capable of keeping 12 together for a whole raid??
