I did a few Roc strikes before hitting bed, a member of my team got a ship from TDB so I'm confident that Vanilla and TDB gear hides in the Tiger and Roc strike lists. The ship was Extinction Event and was awarded to the player at the end of activity rewards screen. Happy hunting!
