We start to feel more powerful and start to have better time killing enemies and dealing death. We do a Nightfall, beat a raid boss, or visit Xur, and we now have access to Top Tier weapons called EXOTICS. These guns are the pinnacle of perks and come with many interesting variables on how to KILL THE ENEMIES FASTER. They have more damage, more ways to kill enemies, more fun to use. Eventually, we have tried all the other guns, and they are great and all, but certain guns, for us, are more enjoyable to use. Some of those GREEN, BLUE, LEGENDARY and EXOTIC guns are so great, we enjoy them so much, that they become our favorite guns. Why use the other guns when a certain type of gun fits our unique playstyle? Once we get the adequate burns and loadouts to deal with each situation we will encounter in the ENTIRE game, we settle on our favorites. It's human nature to utilize that which is most effective.
