"Why can't we buy the exotic class items, emotes without paying for the game again?"
"Okay you can now buy them for 20 dollars even though these are suppose to just be for the special editions to make them better for their price."
"We want them for free now."
Really? Bungie gives you what you want and now you ask for more? That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works. Honestly, what happened to this generation of gamers? It's sooo...casual. Everyone wants everything without having to put in any effort whether that effort be getting better at the game or simply paying a bit extra for something you really want.

Hell naw I'm not paying 20 bucks for some digital emotes
-
Then don't. They are there for the people that really want them.
-
So there is no forty dollar regular edition anymore? I've been under a rock. This is about as bad as the Skolas nerf
-
There is still a 40$ version of just TTK with none of the extra content. I don't know how you got that there wasn't out of what I said.
-
I thought we were being forced a reward and that they'd get rid of the forty to get players to chill smh
-
Nope, people just wanted the in-game content nornally reserved for collector's editions of games and Bungie basically gave people what they wanted for 20$ (remind you that these items were originally only for the collector's edition so they weren't going to be cheap). Now people are asking for them to be sold at 5 to 10$ or even free like said thread we are in.
-
We need pay 60€ for taken king and cosmetic items new players can buy all dlcs destiny cosmetic items and destiny with 80€?
-
I am talking in regards to $ not €. I honestly don't know why EU is having to pay 20$ more than NA (I personally think it's ridiculous as well).
-
And for most games, the price always drops. Destiny is no exception. A company's goal is to make money. Company's have many different strategies to make money. One strategy is to lower the price of a product already in use to get the people who wanted to use the product earlier but wouldn't/couldn't due to the pricing concerns. People who couldn't afford the product before now can. All Bungie/Activision is doing is selling the already reduced price game with the unreduced price of TTK while adding in exclusive items to lure people and or make the whole package seem that much more worth it. tl;dr Destiny is being sold for less just like every game before it and people are deciding now to be angry.
-
So the options are either buy the game that you already own, or pay $20 extra for some cosmetics? Great job taking care. I don't think we should have it for free but they could just tack it on for anyone buying taken king
-
My point is collector's editions of games always have some kind of in-game exclusive item to sweeten the deal. They are their for the people who see the value in such an item. People wanted (and complained a lot about) the in-game items so Bungie made the items available to all. Now you just have to pay for it. They won't give items that were originally only for the collector's edition for free. As I've said before that's not how this works.
