Why do people think fate bringer is the best gun in the game?
I always laugh when people say they did the templar 100 times for fate bringer
Fate bringer is a average gun with average stats except for impact
people like to kiss that guns ass because it has explosive rounds when explosive rounds doesn't even work with the outlaw perk
The scholar and the fang have a faster TTK than fatebringer on any enemy and does better against bosses
Also my arc scholar will 1 shot all non major enemies during arc burn and it has outlaw too while fate bringer can only 1 shot smaller enemies like acolytes and thralls
face it this gun is average at best stop kissing its ass because it has explosive rounds and get an arc scholar or fang of ir yut
Edit:1 Dont even mention word of crota that gun is garbage i have a jewl of osirs in void which is bettter in every single way except rate of fire but it doesnt matter because it does so much damage

Even if your using maxed fate bringer with outlaw and field scout i will still output more damage with an already higher reload and i would be using flared magwell maxing out my reload speed

I am not a hand cannon fans. But FB is a "must be carried" gun for me just like Ice Breaker. That are the only guns that all my characters have their own...so I don't have to transfer them when I switch character. FB Firefly is different than other guns firefly....it has lightning. Hope I will have the GH soon...so it will be 3 must have gun.

If you use explosive rounds, you are missing on the other perks 50% of the time. Field Scout is the way to go

I hope you realize that half the hype about is because of Firefly. You literally mentioned Firefly once and left it behind, so maybe do some research before posting something and looking like an idiot. Also, for the record, who the -blam!- uses triple tap on Hand Cannons? I thought people realized that the Phantom Gift perk on Word of Crota was already garbage, concise ring that's exactly what it is, since you either don't notice the garbage perk or you miss a bullet. Still see no point in it either way.

You're dumb af lol. Word if crota is a great hand cannon, a mag size of 17 with send it?? Very useful. Fatebringer has near insta reload with firefly, unless your fighting majors or bosses fatebringer is the best elemental primary in the game.

So you use your special on trash mobs? I use my primary on trash mobs. This post would be good during October when firefly was just s visual. But now, it's a beast.

Listing stats doesn't prove that it's better. And I'm still laughing at the fact you didn't include THE ACTUAL DAMAGE OUTPUT. How about actually getting a feel for the weapon then realising what you prefer instead of saying "dis gun haz betur reecoyl so it must bee betur". Get off the forums and play the game noob.

Critical hit kills = a big explosion which makes the ttk way faster. Which chains with giving you a fast reload speed on a decent impact, high clip hand cannon. The higher impact handcannons don't work any better on killing mobs since most handcannons 1 shot easy mobs anyways. And who uses primary to kill bosses? I use black hammer. If you use anything else you are doing less damage.

The reason its regarded the best HC for pve is because its the only handcannon that can currently roll firefly, which makes the elemental burn chain off to nearby enemies. Even if normal hancannons could roll firefly the lack of elemental burn and additional damage that it provides would still put fatebringer at the top. Your explosive round red hand has nothing on fatebringer, regardless of its stats. The scholar equally does not compare,although it is a nice weapon and has unique perks for its weapon type.
