The Aegis, the Mythoclast, and the blue labyrinth flames are key. They are a combination to a lock yet to be seen. Time, to the Vex, is not a straight line but circular. The Vault isn't a vault at all, but a prison, trapping time itself within. Light comes through shattered cracks... glass shatters and becomes sand again to be caught in the wind and reformed. The doorway is there, you've all walked past it, you need only see...
Atheon is not our enemy.

Editado por SoSorryUDie: 7/25/2015 3:00:00 AMSo if time is imprisoned in the VoG, it becomes a singularity instead of a line. When you enter the vault, "time" becomes still, relative to the people outside, i.e. holographic principle. Following this line of logic makes me wonder if the VoG is some sort of Black Hole. I wonder if Bungie added enough depth when designing the Vault, because time philosophy = must be intelligent. Probably not..... as sad as that is.

Lol. Time philosophy=must be intelligent. Perfect.

I think the stranger is either pahanine or someone much further from the future.

What if Atheon tries to free us, but vex are waiting for us on the other end. And we keep pressing to return to him to kill him. Maybe we have it all wrong. Has anyone tried not killing him or even hurting him for several teleportations to see what happens? It would be awesome if there is an alternate way to complete it.

This may be a stupid post.*****

Also, has anyone taken the Aegis and used the bubble with Aetheon inside? Or taken the Aegis to the Crystal arch and did anything?
-
Does Atheon enrage? I've never seen it from what I can remember?
-
When the drugs hit
-
Jesus -blam!- that was real
-
I've always thought Atheon is a good guy Greek root of Atheon is atheist. The vex themselves worship a god. Atheon does not.
-
AKA the Black Heart. This is actually why when I see "it is impossible to say whether Aetheon created the Vault, or the Vault created Aetheon", I believe that Aetheon created the Vault to practice his own abilities
-
This one knows the key...
-
Where did you get this. Excellent writing though.
-
ooooo, sounds juicy.
-
Atheos-Greek Godless Since the vex see the darkness as their god, would that make Atheon an enemy to the god, therefore, an ally to us?
-
Prison for atheon
-
This one begins to see...
-
"It is impossible to tell if Atheon created the vault, or if the vault created Atheon." What if Kabr was what the vex needed to create Atheon, and the trials before we reach Atheon were what tested him to deem him worthy. He could have retained just enough of himself, to send us to the different time lines that the Vex exist... So that we can end what the vex had started and that he couldn't finish... That's why we are given the shield through out he encounter..
-
Kabr became atheon. He doesn't praise the darkness, he's an atheist of it. He sends us to past and future, so that we can kill him and be able to make our own fate. He, atheon, allows us to free ourselves before were lost to time one e vault
-
Unless you're saying Kabr morphed with Atheon.. I'm not so sure. I think there's a Grimoire where Kabr mentions him
-
That assumes that time is linear. What if Kabr witnessed Atheon as a vision of himself in a future created and actualized by Gorgons?
-
With the timeline theory we got going on atheon could still be a product of kabr, just from a different timeline. Since atheon is present throughout all time, kabr could have gone in to kill something that didn't necessarily exist on his timeline but he subsequently created the evil he was attempting to thwart (by becoming atheon who is present in all time lines).
-
By sacrificing himself to the vault, and creating the aegis, he also became Atheon?
-
I believe so. Honestly j think the aegis was made from his ghost and a gorgon. Then he simulated to the vault, but he's not completely bound by the vex, he's apart of the vault as atheon. Just a theory tho :)
-
kabr is the shield
-
That makes sense too... :/
