I've gotten it 2x from atheon. Once from crota. And once from thr gorgons chest. Seen it drop at my least 10x from that chest.

Got my first from NF, another from a 3v1 Skirmish match that I JIpd solo and came back from down by a lot, to down by less than a hundred points. Then they hid and drew the time out. So I laughed in their faces when Ghorn dropped.

Random guy from the 100 got his 1st last night when I was playing my Titan. I think I'm good luck when using my Titan, LOL. My 4th is from last night. So 2 gjallarhorns dropped along with 2 icebreakers. Strange coins twice and two exotic armor pieces between the 3 of us. Edit: I think there was only 1 exotic armor drop and a truth not 2 armor drops.

I finally got my first one last week. It dropped from a legendary engrams from dragon strike. I almost stopped playing for the day because I had gotten dropped from an Iron Banner match that I had been doing incredibly well in. It was the best I had ever done then..."baboon" or whatever stupid code you get when you get dropped. I ran two Strikes and it dropped then. One of my best memories ever in destiny.

Night fall solo the Devils layer.

PoE surprisingly. Ran 28 with my Titan got a thunderlord(already had it) Ran 28 with my hunter bones of eao I believe Then saw that the first chest you open is always an exotic. Figured on my warlock I skip chest 28. Didn't open it. Then played 32 right after. Opened and low and behold my first gally. A lot is due to sheer luck but like to think I at least put the odds in my favor.
