So Everyone Has To Play The Game The Way Bungie Wants Us To?
This is very sad indeed. I have been playing since day one and have over 1,300 hours into the game. I could not care less about getting an emblem but this is really disgraceful. Even if you have played the game since day 1 you can't get this emblem unless you raid and play crucible. And raid on the hard level by the way! And plenty of Day 1 players don't like PVP so I guess that it is tough luck for them.
This is just another scheme to get people to run raids because the majority of the player base does not run raids. And raids are where the money is. Why? Because you are bringing 5 other players into the game with you . . . it is just a simple numbers game.
A new low has been set here folks.
Edit: I said that many people do not like to play the Crucible. I did not say that I am one of those as I have over 270 hours in PVP.

2 RespuestasIf you feel forced to do something for an Emblem that has no value in making your Guardians better, then you have some other issues. I have not done Hard Crota or 35 Skolas, and I don't plan to either.

So yes, in a way you "have to play the way the developer wants you to play" in order to achieve it. Same as any other achievement/trophy. If you want it, do it. If not, don't worry about it.

14 RespuestasI haven't done a single raid yet and I've been playing daily since launch and even played both beta and alpha. Not that I care all that much about an emblem, but I am a day 1 player even though I haven't been fortunate enough to do the raids.

I'm not exceptional at any certain mode, PVE/PVP, but I'm already done besides getting a few more stupid gold chests. Just keep pushing, you'll get there, but I hardly think it's unfair. You got 2 months! Keep fighting! Edit: fancy joining a clan?

I hate PVP in Destiny but I still got 100 wins, it's not as bad as people make it out to be. Plus, running the Raids are the funnest part of Destiny in my opinion. With all of the LFG and all of the people helping other players there's not much of an excuse for people to not have run the raids by this point.

At least it'll be the first and only legit sign if someone is a average/good player, since the Osiris Emblem became a useless PoS with all the cheaters and carried sandbags...

I was surprised to see that when I checked the triumphs all I have left to do is find 10 more golden chests and defeat skolas. I do not PvP much but was surprised to see that I had the 100 wins completed already.

Honestly the day I start to care about trophys or emblems is the day I quit playing games. Play for fun and enjoy the game, who cares about a emblem? Most games require you to play pvp and pve to 'master' games, it doesn't really matter and certainly not worth getting upset about for anyone in my opinion. If people are getting upset about this then they must have a real easy life
