With a new expansion The Taken King due for release in September if all goes just as planned comes new subclasses for each class. The Titan being Sunbreaker, the Hunter being Nightstalker, and the Warlock being Stormcaller.
All seems pretty cool but one stands out as awesome in my book, The Sunbreaker. With a subclass much like that of the Hunter's Bladedancer the Titan will now be able to hold the power of solar while wielding a flaming hammer that allows the titan to engage in hand to hand combat with enemies in a full on offensive assault.
With this being said we all know the capabilities of the Hunter's arc blade in the hands of a player that knows how to use it right and for some have experienced first hand on just how annoying and what some might call... " OP". Let that sit for alittle while then imagine a Titan with a flaming god hammer (Hammer of Sol) doing the same thing if not worst.
With this being said I couldn't help but imagine the two going at it.....the Stern stubborn hitting power of a Titan's hammer versus the quick sly slicing of a Hunters dagger. Now I know we are not sure about all the capabilities of what the Titan's new ability as to offer but I can't help but wonder...
WHO MIGHT WIN IN A SUPER SHOWDOWN!!!!
PLACE YOUR BETS PEOPLE, LET THE DEBATE BEGINNING!!!
Edit: Wow!! 239 sweet keep the comments coming.......you guys are awesome. Do you think the Titan is the next OP race?......Well let us know!!!! put a comment down below and tell us what you think.
Edit: sweet guys never got over 300 hits before ty for the love keep those comments coming I enjoy seeing the feedback!!

People, stop talking about shoulder charge. SUNBREAKERS not STRIKERS. STRIKERS have Shoulder Charge. How do I know? I use a Titan for crying out loud. Sunbreakers were so OP, upon activating it, you have a 3/10 chance of finding someone to kill b/c they all fckin run making the Super itself useless in PVP. Strikers are fu now. They're still respected and able to jump someone because it doesn't make a noise upon activation and is a 1 shot meaning you have to time it right while Sunbreakers are SIMILAR to Golden Gun, just 7 Shots in the form of hammers that create sunspots and regenerate health-possibly one of the only useful perks in the Sunbreaker Subclass. I think Bladedancer, b/c those things are broken AF. NOT A POSITIVE WAY. I shoot Bladedancers at 20 HP Red Bar w/ shotgun 6 ft. away, no damage and they kill me. I shoot them at a distance, they survive and no damage happens. They are super quick and have blink so it's like having Twilight Garrison for Hunters in a way so they could play "Run around the rosy" w/ Sunbreakers making them waste supers.

One thing...
Sweeper bot
I would say Sunbreaker. 1. Hammer range. The Hammer has a higher range so the chance to kill a Bladedancer faraway is high. 2. Sunspots. Depending on your build, you gain an overshield or longer super duration additionally to aoe damage. 3. Shoulder Charge ability. It's available instantly and can kill an Bladedancer, Sunsinger in one hit. It's like Shoulder Charge with exotic boots on. 4. Blink nerf. Bungie announced that Blink is getting nerfed with TTK so I assume it will be easier to kill "Blinkers". Of course you can still kill an Sunbreaker Titan with Bladedancer but I think it's the better overall super.

1 RespuestaTitan 1hit melee from close and far. Bladedancing is in the disadvantage. But i'll manage. When lags kicks in we both die xD

1 Respuestaone word Blink

We might see more invisibility spec'ed hunters to get the jump against the hammer. As it looks now if they don't, they will burn with a broken skull. I love my Hunter brethren, but need to get humbled and taken down a notch sometimes.
-
Love my arc blade.. But that hammer range tho
-
Titan probably. He can Thor the hammer across the room at the approaching Blade Dancer.
-
Blade dancer cause invisibility and/or arc wave plus there agile

1 RespuestaGonna 1v1 a titan using sunbreaker with my bladedancer when the ttk comes out

Can't the Titan throw the hammer as well?
-
4 RespuestasNone. Gravity bow > all supers

Sith Lord FTW

It all depends on the player. I think the best pvp players will always win with bladedancer, but a mediocre player maybe not so much.
-
I am thinking in the right hands Sunbreaker Titan will have the better super. Doubt they will be op though. The rest of their class looks very questionable but only time will tell. With the blink nerf inbound it seems like they will simply be on the same level as the top pvp subclasses that the Warlock and Hunter already have.

Sun breaker is blade dancer and golden gun put together
-
To my understanding Sunbreaker can be melee or throw hammers around. If it can't leap forward, then in my opinion a good bladedancer should win nearly every time. Bladedancer travels faster while airborne and will also be harder to hit while airborne, unless the thrown hammer is massive. The bladedancer should "leap" in a zig zag approaching the Sunbreaker, who shouldn't be able to counter easily. In that case the Sunbreaker can either land a good hammer throw or try hitting the bladedancer out of their leap. I think the bladedancer would always have more control.
-
From looks, Sunbreaker prioritizes throwing the hammer, but will whack with it when in close range. One of their abilities eats a large chunk of super energy, but can 1-hit a taken collosus. So by that thought, a Sunbreaker can beat out a bladedancer, even if they close the gap.

Sunbreaker is going to be most op pvp class in the games, absolute hands down. It's like a golden gun w. AoE damage that has a minimum of 6 shots depending on the perks you decide to use..that shits gonna be ridiculous lol. It's gonna change from Hunters being the most sought after pvp class to Titans realllll quick w. That Sunbreaker class..I'm tellin you lol. I don't personally play Titans. I prefer warlocks & hunters. I'm the player that works around the Titans on my team. I have great synergy w. Them in both pvp & pve. just don't enjoy having it be the opposite. Most players I've come across don't know how to properly compliment a Titans playstyles. sucks. cus it's such a major advantage.

6 RespuestasIn the VID DOC they show the HUD of the player using the Titan Hammer. After hitting two enemies his super was gone and that was it. So, although it may be very powerful, it has a pretty low active time. Bladedancer on the other hand can get several cuts into enemies before their super is lost. I don't really use bladedancer, I go GG all day, but I'd have to say right now I still think that bladedancer will be a better choice for us to go

PvE blade dancer obviously Pvp Sunbreaker
