The mods will eventually make its way to PS4 for Fallout 4, either way great job another "_____ won E3 post".

Can't see mods happening unfortunately. Fallout 4 on xb1 will be the best console experience.

WIndows 10. Windows 10 is coming out in July for PC's and shortly afterwards XB1 will be update with the new OS. The only reason that it is possible to share the PC mods will be because both systems will be running the same compatible OS, Win 10. This is also the same reason why PC and XB1 Cross-Platform Multiplayer will work with upcoming games such as Fable. In order for Playstation to be able to have PC mods it will need Win 10 and we all know that ain't happening. Oh and just so you know I don't own either XB1 or PS4 so I could really care less, I'm just stating the facts so you don't give your hopes up.

Where are you getting this Windows 10 shit from? In fact. Sony has already had several games, even on PS3, that allow PS players and PC players to play together. While MS never allowed it. You don't need Windows 10 for PC and consoles to be able to share information.

Ok name these several games of which you speak of? The only one I am aware of is FFXI which only allows interaction between a PS and a PC within a local or home network and is NOT playable through the game servers. Also running a PS emulator on a PC to play with users on PS is not a true Cross-Platform MP. It's just a gimmick and basically PS playing PS. Also "sharing information" is wayyyyy different then playing match making between two different game consoles/systems on the same servers. So name a game that does that [i]without[/i] an emulator?? I'll wait while you prove it to me.

Also. FFXI was on PS2. And yes, PC players were on the same servers.

It is true that Dust 514 and EVE online share the same server but you are not playing directly with the players of EVE. Although what you down on the ground (Dust 514) affects what happens up in the air (EVE Online) there is no direct interaction with in the two games worlds. In other words you can't take a spaceship, hop in and blast your way up into the EVE world from the Dust 414 world. There is still that major barrier. I am not correct on that sir? About FFXVI. Again not a true Cross-Platform MP game. Real simple. If you want to log onto the pc version, you will need an additional key from the pc version of the game. A service account with a PS4 key tied to it, can ONLY log onto the PS4 version of the game. If you want to log onto both versions from one service account, you'll need to buy a copy of each version of the game. So in your case: if you and your friend both want to be free to switch platforms, that means buying the pc version twice and the PS4 version twice. If you have a PC account you cant play on PS4 and same the other ways round. You would first have to get a PS4/PC Linsence to do so.

So now do you agree with me that having a game console/system running the same OS will make a true Cross-Platform MP come true? The reason it hasn't happened yet like for example between XB and PS is because the servers where the information will have to "translate" the MS code into PS code and vise versa so players can have access to the same sever. Again it's possible they tested it but in the end decided the gaming experiences is not the best. Think of how many problems that would cause and who would be liable. MS? Sony? The publisher? So when everything is running the same thing it makes it a hell of a lot easier to do. Win 10 makes this happens.

Well no. As I said FF allows console and PC players to play together. Same servers. I'm not sure why you brought up game licenses. How is that even relevant?

It's relevant because it decides what network and server you play on. You are either playing on the PS4 network/server or the PC network/server. Can a player on PC play with PS4, YES. I get what you are saying but please, try to understand what I am saying. It's not a true form of a cross platform game. There is still major barrier.

Cross Platform doesn't mean you can switch around. It just means a game is on more than one platform. My friend does not really care about playing on PS4 and PC. Point is. He's on PC. And I'm on PS4, we can play together. This whole games licenses stuff is irrelevant. Where do you get the idea that being able to log onto PC and X1, means cross platform?

You're wrong though. My friends play FFXIV on PC. So do I. But I also have it on my PS4. We play all the time. And it's not on a home network. I'm trying to explain that this stuff isn't new. It was in PS2 back in like 2005 lol.

No I'm not. My friend is on PC. I'm on PS4. True I can't play on PC, and he can't play in PS4 unless we buy the game again. But that does not matter. We can play together. Also. I do have it on both PC and PS4. Character is same. I can log out on PS4 and log onto my PC and play where I left off. Cross Platform is meaning I can play with players on different platforms.

Ok ok ok. I'll admit, FFXI is a cross platform game. It is. I'm getting to ahead of myself here. All I am saying is there isn't any game out there where you are on PS, I'm on a XB, pc etc, we pop in the game and we can play freely with anyone else who has the same game with out any limitations.

Because of pride. Yoshi P wanted FFXIV to be on 360 and One but MS won't allow the servers to be joined with PC and PS.

Yes pride did get in my way. I can admit that too. Most game developers are all on board with the idea of cross-platform and would love to have that happen knowing this would please every gamer out there. Unfortunately the big wigs at MS only look out for the best interest of their pockets. This I know and pisses everyone off. Who out there wouldn't want to play with their friends online regardless of what system they own? No gamer I know.
