The Scholar, has no one noticed....
I have recently started using The Scholar and this thing is a beast. Has anyone else noticed that its a three shot headshot kill? And if you pull off a kill then reload it becomes a two shot headshot kill!? This thing wrecks house in crucible, am one of the few that likes it?
EDIT: it's nice to see people loving weapons, literally I've seen one thorn comment. Good riddance thorn!

In normal crucible I use scholar and plan c all the time, but over the past week in ib it just handicaps you. Seriously, I'm only doing it for the etheric light but it is broken as hell

I've been wrecking shit with Skorri's Revenge and Plan C lately. Check my recent games on my Hunter. Love out gunning Thorn and TLW with Skorri's.

My go to scout is High Road Soldier, mainly because I don't own The Scholar. It's definitely an underrated weapon. I don't have the best roll on it, but Full Auto, Armor Piercing, and Crowd Control has done wonders for me in crucible. It's nice to get away from Hand Cannons every once in awhile.

Fires too slow. I've done well with it in large maps, but why don't you just snipe instead? Messenger has almost the same range and is much better.

It would be great if the maps were bigger, but the maps are so small that its slow rate of fire, makes it nearly unusable

The slow rate of fire makes it very very unreliable. If you miss one shot you get destroyed. With the lag in this game that's just not a viable option. Messenger has a faster ttk and is more reliable.

Yes I've been saying this for a few weeks since I got it from the Lighthouse Mine is Solar and it's a beast in PvP and PvE

Most guardians have around 200 health in crucible. It can be a 2 shot kill but it's not always

Nope, my brother uses it all the time. I stick to my OG The Aries Nemesis X4 (also a 3 shot kill scout rifle. from vanilla).

I always use it on the bigger maps. Feels like it would be a slight insult to be 3 shot while you are trying to snipe someone. It's Also pretty beast for pve
