You people act like Destiny would get infinitely better once last gen is dropped. The game is already made to support both, it would have to be largely re-programmed to take advantage of the newer hardware. Sure, future expansions would be better, but you would never get the completely open world, the seamless matchmaking, all of those other features we were originally promised this late in the game. The most you would get is more vault space; a very trivial thing. Destiny is better off being supported on all consoles until the end. Microsoft is dropping support for 360 in 2016, and Sony will probably follow suit, so at least let the games live a bit longer. Destiny 2 will without a doubt be current-gen only, and we might finally get what we all want.
