I'm a huge fan of mods for Bethesda games. In particular, the Fallout and The Elder Scrolls series. I've even made a few of my own!
While I've messed around with the Dev Kit, I'm no seriously experienced modder. I leave the huge projects to more capable hands. And there's no doubt about it, some of those highly skilled individuals and groups are already coming up with ideas of mods to begin developing once Fallout 4 and its G.E.C.K. (Garden of Eden Creation Kit AKA Dev Kit) is released to the public.
There is one mod in particular I am looking forward to: the complete recreation of Pre-War Boston. If someone hasn't already had this idea, they will by the time the game comes out.
From the trailer, we see in-engine footage of a couple pre-war locations. Meaning that there will already be quite a few pre-war assets available to the modding community. And where there are things missing, you can be sure the modding community will be able to fill in the gaps.
"But the purpose of Fallout is to explore a post-war environment. Not real life! Go outside!"
You'd have a point. But this would be 1950-1960-ish Boston. And I know I wasn't the only person fascinated by Tranquility Lane in Fallout 3.
TL;DR I can't wait for a Fallout 4 mod that recreates the entire area pre-war.

Wow. That would be cool.

1 RespuestaI can't speculate on anything yet until I know more. I'm hoping there is some open land for some housing mods, I love my storage space and displays.

2 RespuestasI'm just hoping the Mod Nexus will support it again.
