This prision of elders is the worst activity that the game brought to us. Its really poor and boring. I never want to do any prision's level not even for the chests because it doesnt give me anything. The kind if difficulty make me think it was made with laziness. Its not the smart way of playing like we've seen before in destiny. The prision of elders is not destiny. Its some kind of stuff bungie did to kill time. Please. Give US something really good for this DLC and never bring this so poor content again.

I like the idea of something different but for some reason I just don't want to do them anymore. It was fun for a bit but I want to do something that has meaning. Not just some crazy ass arcade version of the game.

E3 is just around the corner...

Editado por xbob lv: 6/4/2015 2:11:34 PMI love POE. I enjoy that the modifiers, rounds, and bosses change each week and level. VOG and CE got boring after a while. Once you have the mechanic down it becomes boring. Level 35 POE is challenging. Bungie did the final boss fight well. Guardians need maxed out weapons, teamwork, and a lot of coordination. I spent an hour last night dying repeatedly, then we switched out a player. We started out with a practice run and to help him build his super. We did so much initial damage that we decided to finish the fight. The reward is that the game mode is fun. Bungie finally listened to us. They made a system were I can upgrade and use any gun or armor I have. All of my VOG and CE weapons will be maxed. I will be running with my VOG armor as a level 34. Why because it looks good. They gave a reason to run VOG again. A guardian saw my fatebringer in action and asked "where did you get that gun?" He never ran VOG before. Didn't see he point until last night.

It is really repetitive as much as I want it to be exciting. I only find myself wanting to only do a boss checkpoint lol

3 RespuestasNoob. Muted

Solo it. 32 and 34. Did 32 last night going for 34 today.
-
2 RespuestasI just cant stand variks and all the dumb lines he says over and over and over again. As well as there is only like 2 things in the prison, dismantle mines and some target, its incredibly repetitive.

6 RespuestasI've done the level 32 PoE once got an armor core that got me a 42 light chest piece. I bought some helm engram from Xur got the Celestial helm that had 42 light on it. I'm going to do another 32 PoE and get another piece of gear that has 42 light. So a week from now I'm going to be 34 on all 3 characters because I'm not relying on RnGesus

It's really not that great of an activity at all. I've completed the level 35 one twice, the level 34 one about 8 times or so, and the level 28 and 32 ones only a handful of times. I have very little interest in it and since week 1 of HoW have not made it a point to complete it on all 3 characters. I go in there to help buddies out and maybe get a shot at the exotic bounty when doing 34 or 35 but I don't expect to get it anytime soon due to lack of going in there and that's fine. The fallen themed weapons are also just blah and replacing a perk entirely with a perk for bonus damage against fallen types was a terrible idea. They should have followed suit with VoG and CE weapons in which you get a perk against fallen in addition to the normal amount of perks on the weapons. As for the armor, it's all ugly as hell. I'll stick to my ToO gear or other ascended legendary armor pieces over that junk.

1 RespuestaYou have done the 28 level 20+ times but the 32 only 3 times (completed). Keep playing. The 28 chests are not going to give you a lot. The dynamics in the boss fight are pretty good but can be worked around when slammed with a bunch of gallys if you have one, which I don't. It is difficult and you will die.

done 32 once and never went back! boring as hell

42 RespuestasEditado por A K: 6/4/2015 6:57:13 AMwas kinda fun to do first 3-4 times, beating 34 with only 33's for that first Etheric Light, now, sorry, but not anymore. see, i play bit of both, PvE as well as PvP, but i honestly don't get this - PoE: you can literally spend 10 hours fighting Skolas and get ONE etheric light, one sorry ass excuse for a weapon and some garbage items that you can turn in for even worse weapons and armor, being your reward for 10 hours spent in an activity (sure, i believe some can do it much faster, but still i believe that it will take a bunch of wipes and at least 3 hours to complete) ...applicable for VERY Good PvE players ToO: you can LITERALLY get flawless in under an hour and you get rewarded with AT LEAST 3x etheric light, a Primary with ELEMENTAL damage and cool looking armor with decent stats/perks ...needless to say you can do ToO as many times as you feel like, while PoE will only drop you rewards once per week per level per character (if i am not mistaken) ...applicable for VERY Good PvP players why has Bungie decided to spit in the faces of all the PvE players (a VAST MAJORITY of player base) in their game like this is really beyond me

Oh so PoE stands for prison of elders.... Make so much more sense now
-
I'm having fun with it.. So many bosses...
-
3 RespuestasI agree with most of your statements. I do however like how difficult it is to beat, even though something could be taken away from the 35. Ive beaten it each week so far and to me, there are just too many variables coming into play. You have to deal with skolas transporting right beside you, ads, mines and then there's the poison. And if and when you beat it, what do you get? A pos sniper rifle or her mercy. Smh. When you win the trials you get weapons and armor you can actually use, so why not do the same in the prison? At the final boss, have exotics or legit weapons and armor drop once a week. Make it like the raids. Give us a reason to keep playing the 35 poe.
-
2 RespuestasI finally beat skolas with my clan this week, and the rewards are still bugged after a patch where they said they fixed his rewards. I will be playing long enough to run the remnants (most left for new games) of my clan through skolas and I'm done. You lost me bungie. It's abundantly clear you're gonna cater to Pvp since that's mostly what is played by the fan base. That's not me, never will be, and you're not tricking me into paying for more garbage content. HOW was your chance to sell me on a new "expansion" and you gave me a load of dung. So I'm out.
-
6 RespuestasI just farm lvl 28 for legendarys and treasure keys, I've gotten some good stuff, but I'm getting sick of Qodron.Oh my God he's op. Whenever I want to do lvl 32 and he's the boss I just quit because I keep trying but my teammates won't listen and it's just impossible.Ive beaten level 32 ONCE. And that was against some Croat guy who rages and sets the ground on fire
-
IMO it's getting stale already. The weapons suck from the chests as well as the armor that's all strength oriented. I really have almost no reason to run POE, especially on the harder difficulties. Not to mention how tedious and annoying / glitchy the boss fights can be. Bungle should add elemental primaries to the rewards on 34 or 35.
-
Not saying it's bad just that it needs lots of work.
-
5 RespuestasMan, spelling and grammar. Personally, I agree with you to an extent. It obviously is nowhere near as satisfying as a raid, and I think we can all agree is pretty repetitive, but not to the point where I won't still do it. I like running the 32 or 34 versions every week to get the armor and weapon. I just won't be farming the 28 for treasure keys. I think we can all agree that ranking up the House of Judgement is useless considering that its only rewards are cosmetic. Good event, but I agree, will never replace a raid.
-
It's ok we understand if you can't beat skolas
-
Go back and grind ce then Have fun! Me I did not race through this like last time I get there when I get there Playing with friends etc
-
I like the prison . Sorry you dont. I like the hectic craziness of the level 34 and 35 (the 34 is really only fun with bad teammates. With a good team it's a cake walk). I like it as much if not more than the raids. Everyone really gas to do their part. I've run sword and relic as long as I can remember. I don't mind being put in that roll. I'm good at it but because I ran a lock I was always expected to help cheese. I didn't and don't want to do that. I bought this game because it was a shooter, and guess what, I like to shoot shit. In the poe that's exactly what I get. Intense firefights with objectives that force quick thinking and an even quicker trigger finger.
