It's entirely possible that they're just placeholder icons. In unfinished content it's not unusual to see devs putting in placeholders until they finish it, perhaps they are working on implementing the perks but dont yet have art for them :P

Can't say for sure but just looking at it... makes no sense for something called the ram to be as boring as a recolored obsidian mind. Also seems dumb that the only recolors are warlock exotics. I'd guess that they make those last and that's why they have the placeholders in.
