Crucible since patch...
This afternoon I jumped into Crucible for the first time since the patch landed, and I've got to say...
Love the changes! And sooo nice to not be constantly shotgunned!
For the first time in ages, Crucible was fun! Varied weapons, players using their strengths... It was a new experience.

It's slower, more ranged now... Feels a lot different. Still trying to find a base build. Before sniping was my base, and I could change my primary depending on flow. I feel like I have to rely on my primary as my base now, and I can't decide... Fml

Yeah it took away the shotgun users... But they came right back and took out their thorns.

Seems same to me also 75%of the time its still by a shotgun. Guess its better than 99%

It's even worse. All I see are exotic hand cannons and red death. So -blam!-ing annoying.

Just wish the match making was better. Twice this week I have been put into teams of 6 v 4 with me being on the four.

Editado por Squiggler: 4/17/2015 7:13:05 PMReally like the changes. I did not hate it before, but love it now. I even got some friends that hated the crucible to give it a shot last night and our team won 5 of 6 games in control. They loved the changes.

Oddly enough even though i find the new changes to be much less fun, my KD is much improved.

Don't know what crucible you been playing, coz my crucible is just thorn, thorn, thorn, fusion rifles and thorn Did I mention thorn?

And the only difference between then and now is that this is no longer an exaggeration. It really is just like that now. Play Skirmish or Doubles. I didn't play a single game last night for three hours straight where both players in Dubs weren't using Thorn/TLW/Hawkmoon. Why they all lost to two Scout Rifle users, I'll never know.

Once the timer hits everyone knows I now so what it has become at 30seconda everyone camps one heavy and then it just become who can get there shot off faster and there is no play in the game at the point now. I think rockets should be exiled. I'm tired of getting blown away for two minutes by rockets from across the map or inside of door ways. It seems as if no one uses heavy machine guns. And my team of randoms is always getting carried.

Yup, it's better. It hasn't actually changed that much, but special weapons feel more special now :)

11 RespuestasIt's not varied weapons. It's Thorn, Last Word (about to be even worse thanks to Xur), and since Bungie finally fixed it, Vex Mythoclast.

8 RespuestasI don't see much variation in weapons. Thorn, TLW, Red Death consists of probably 70% of the crucible kills now.

I gotta say I played a couple matches n I like them as well. It's not a shotgun fest anymore like it used to be every match. Ppl actually had to rely on their primaries for a change. I really hate the heavy ammo changes THO. I Never see heavy ammo and you always get that one greedy teammate who picks it up n screws over the entire team.

Prior to the patch I didn't feel like I was running up against the clock in matches, but now almost every match takes the entire allotted time. Much more boring to me [spoiler]...and they still wont address the Thorn, TLW, or Red Death[/spoiler]

I don't rely on secondaries so the changes didn't affect me much but perhaps it has affected some quite a bit. I now pick up special crates as soon as they spawn. I have no problem denying some of my teammates of special ammo if it means denying the entire opposing team of it as well.

I've noticed some people still trying to main shotguns, but not one of them have done remotely good. It seems natural selection is finally coming for the weak.
