I have 3 level 32 characters and I will be the first to tell you that being a level 32 doesn't mean anything at all. Being a level 32 now is NOTHING like being a level 30 was before the DLC. Old school level 30s earned their rank by farming endlessly on different worlds just to get the materials to upgrade their armor to hit level 26! Then they played through VoG which was a MUCH harder and better raid than CE. RNG was far more of an a-hole back then too so it was very hard to get all the raid armor. On top of all that, once you did get most of the armor you actually had to run VoG hard mode just to get the helmet. Bungie made sure that the Veteran players had to earn everything and then they just started giving stuff away when Crota's End came out. If you want to know someones experience look at their grimoire score, if you want to know someones skill play with them and see how they handle themselves and treat other players. The number 32 above a players head means absolutely NOTHING anymore. I have played raids with level 32s who didn't even know the basics of the VoG and CE raids. I've heard on many occasions a level 32 asking what a sync plate or a totem was, lol. On the other hand I have played with level 28s and 30s who listen/communicate during raids and use solid team work to achieve completion. Don't EVER count off someone because the number over their head isn't at level cap. Some of the finest players/people you will ever meet online could be a level 20 at this very moment. Reach out and help your fellow Guardian because you may just find an amazing raid partner hiding inside that noob :)

6 RespuestasWe at dadsofdestiny foxtrot actually do a raid school for our raid noobs to learn. Takes few hours because along with explaining mechanics we explain the lore as well and have them use the relic at their leisure but it's fun and eventually we expect some to teach when they're ready. Onto the good old days I remember only getting 20 minutes of sleep because my group wanted to run zero hour for Crota and i didn't get the helmet until that night. Good times

3 Respuestasyou'll never be like us.. 3 of the same classes.. - nïgga get out.
-
Word has it there won't be as much of this. .. less chance to buy your way to 35 at the vendor
-
You're pretty much right
-
100% correct you are , sir
-
4 RespuestasOld school? I'm amazed you can call anything to do with destiny old school. If your referring to doom or Pac man yeh.... But a game that is 6 months old??
-
Yea. I can agree with this. I remember falling asleep farming with a friend once. Endless grinding for 100 spirit bloom just to waste them the second I got them. Fun times
-
3 RespuestasHey guardian , ever heard of paragraphs ??
-
I spent hours on patrol trying to find materials! Now you can buy them with marks (that no one uses) or just doing a daily! Go back to the old ways!

8 RespuestasAtheon was cheesed to hell and back just like crota. 30 was no more legitimate than 32 is
-
1 RespuestaYes!! I remember when IB came out and all I needed for a second 30 was gloves, I bought the gloves had them for I think 2 weeks, went to level up those ahkmaraakdh (whatever the hell exotic gloves) doing strikes, had some green gloves started dismantling all the extra gloves I had and without thinking... Poof IB gloves gone and back to 29 till the dark below came out

It took me half the time to get a brand new Hunter and titan to 32 after dlc than it did to get one warlock to 30 before it. Definitely a different experience now.

6 RespuestasI was a 24 before TDB came out. I spent ages watching raid tutorials so that when I was a 26 I could raid properly and know what to do. I was refused because I had no mic. I would have given anything to do vault of glass at that time. Now I'm not really interested. I soloed the abyss in Crotas end several times to get my arm piece. Being a somewhat decent crucible player, I bagged myself the chest piece and the boots. Now I'm 32, and wondering what was the point.

1 RespuestaIt's a new world. I say let them hand out everything. Ha who cares. It's a video game Level 34 for everyone !!
-
Oh I'm sorry that you can't boost your ego anymore with a video game.
-
14 RespuestasI agreed. Then I saw the 3 warlocks.. Why you gotta disappoint like this?
-
1 Respuesta100% agree with you...to bad you also did it the easy way by having 3 warlocks. I had a Lv 30 titan for a couple of weeks prior to the DLC, it was much more difficult to max out back then d/t mat farming and RNG.
-
2 RespuestasBoy has 3 warlocks It was probably really easy for you because you had 3 chances to get raid gear so....
-
1 RespuestaApparently it took up so much of your time, you forgot how to start a new paragraph.
-
Couldn't have said it any better bravo! You win at this game and I'm glad there are players like you.
-
I'm glad. Much less of a grind. I can raid with no expectations.
-
10 RespuestasAgreed dude, it was so much better with only 30's, hope HoW has the same rarity of gear.
-
Ok grandpa
im sorry it's a joke
-
It's a game holy shit
-
Levels means -blam!- all yes VoG is harder then Crota but both are or were exploited to hell back and forth nobody cares move along.

I enjoy the appreciation for Old Skool level 30 raiders and players. But honestly? Farming for materials was quite honestly boring and often killed the buzz a wee bit when you were trying to level up your gear. I much prefer the system as it is now. One reason I think Crota has lost its edge, I might be wrong, is that the raid can be solo'd and before the patch was there the first chest dished out loads of excellent gear. Which kinda eliminated the reward for completing the raid apart from reaching level 32. Also Crota has a few raid killing bugs, it's hard enough with 6 folk but when Crota stands up too early or doesn't take any damage then it's just not worth the hassle sometimes.
