last word still needs nerf'd!!
my overall crucible k/d is a 1.92 and im ranked #830 in the world for xbox one on destiny tracker, so id like to think im pretty solid and a credible source of feedback on the topic of guns
i still think the last word needs a nerf. i get three shotted dead by that thing in a split second before i can even react while also being medium to long range. and this is face to face encounter, guns drawn at same time
my friend had a thunderlord and got outgunned by last word same situation which is complete bs haha. how does a pistol out gun a heavy machine gun at medium to long range??
come on man fix that s***. i shud be able to stand there and laugh in the face of last word bullets coming at me from medium to long range as they bounce harmlessley off my chest. not get three shotted by them in a split second
and i hav a last word myself. that thing is def op. pocket infinity was my favorite weapon and now aftr the nerf if a guy is about 15-20 yds from me, the blast does absolutley nothing whereas before i was a kill. if pocket is so noticeably diffrnt now why cant u also make the last word equally as noticeably diffrnt??
still love the game tho. just think that thing needs a noticeable nerf. along with the thorn too. that thing didnt change at all aftr the patch

The last word is fine where its at and doesn't need a nerf. Takes skills to use TLW.

Or those guys just have really good aim, I rarely lose a gunfight to a Last Word (unless it's in VERY good hands)

Don't really care what your KD is, it doesn't equate to knowledge of weapons, because you lack experience with every other type besides 2. Over 30,000 kills with ARs and 13,000 with Fusions, but barely a scratch on any other weapons? Try using more variety before claiming you know what's best for weapon balance overall. Edit: considering the experience you have in crucible though, you should know that things aren't to bad right now. You should be asking for a AR buff instead.

The pre-nerfed Vex Mythoclast was like this. It didn't matter if you were the worst player in the match, if you had the Vex, you'd get one of the top three spots, if not the very top. The Last Word is not one of those weapons, I kill enough TLW users on a daily basis (same with Thorn and Hawkmoon users). Though these guns give you a slight advantage against your enemies in various situations, they are far from being Over Powered as you claim. Imaging having unlimited heavy ammo, that's the kind of power you need to be comparing all the weapons to. If it's similar to having a never ending supply of heavy ammo, then you have a reason to ask for nerfs.

All rocket launchers get nerfed because they shouldn't be able to kill you in one shot? Sniper rifles get nerfed because someone kills you with a headshot? Look, some of the guns are OP I agree, but instead of nerfing them how about we get a buff on all the weapons that were either nerfed or never touched. These guns should be OP, it's a sci-fi FPS with futuristic guns. This isn't COD. Eventually everyone asking for nerfs will end up with an arsenal of marshmallow shooters that are worthless for any aspect of the game.

People like you ruin pvp and pve because you complain about an op gun. Then the gun gets nerfed then u complain about something else. An easy way to beat TLW is to use Thorn, shotgun, sniper, fusion, or Red Death. Try to get close or get very far away out of the guns range.
